General Description This position is responsible for transporting students in buses on scheduled trips. This includes transporting students from home to school and return home, to and from providers, and any field trips that are scheduled. The driver is to utilize extreme caution in the loading and unloading of passengers, driving safely and maintaining good behavior by the students on the bus. As the driver he/she is responsible for the care and maintenance of the vehicle. This position is responsible for the conduct of the Bus Aide assigned to the bus and should demonstrate courtesy, respect and a positive attitude when relating to children, parents and service providers in the course of his/her duties.
