The Warehouse Driver - NonCDL primarily operates various trucks and tractors in accordance with all DOT regulations to transport product safely and legally from the Distribution Centers to the Customer locations and/or moves trailers in the yard. What you'll do: Route planning and execution: Prepare the delivery vehicle each day before leaving the warehouse to ensure it is loaded correctly; familiarize yourself with the route layout and customers' requests to complete the scheduled route. Complete all deliveries on route as scheduled. Ensure route optimization by identifying challenges or roadblocks ahead of time to complete the route in the most efficient manner. The Heavy Truck Driver operates straight trucks over four tons (usually 10 wheels) to transport materials, equipment, and supplies in support of assigned operations. This position is responsible for loading, securing, and unloading cargo in compliance with safety and transportation regulations. The Heavy Truck Driver inspects vehicles before and after operation, maintains vehicle records, and performs basic preventive maintenance such as checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and safety equipment.
