About this Position
This position will drive a Transit, Para-transit bus on campus, city streets, and state-mandated highways. Safely transport University students, staff/faculty, and the general public on a fixed scheduled bus route. Perform a prescribed pre-operational safety maintenance check. Accumulate and record statistics for daily report. Perform all other responsibilities as assigned. Must be at least 18 years of age or older and able to stoop, bend, or kneel to secure wheelchairs to fulfill ADA requirements, which includes manual operation of wheelchair lift or ramp and lift at least 50 lbs. This is a safety-sensitive position and, as required by USDOT, "Safety-Sensitive employees must meet the requirements of 49 CFR Part 40 (Drug and Alcohol Regulations).

Our Drivers do great with the small delivery area and high volume of CONSISTENT deliveries. Drivers take home cash every day!
While not on the road, Drivers work as Inshoppers and will be required to learn the menu with 100% accuracy, help take orders, make sandwiches and assist us in maintaining a clean restaurant.
Delivery is a customer service job so knowing the menu, following customer's requests and following through with a smile can lead to more successful days!
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old
Must have a vehicle, valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and a clean driving record
Drive safe and obey the rules of the road
Work as an in-shopper when there are no deliveries and learn the menu with 100% accuracy
Additional Requirements:
• Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs. regularly throughout shifts
• Ability to stand, bend, reach and scoop through-out assigned shift
• Ability to be mobile in walk-in refrigerator and freezer with temperatures ranging from 40° F to -10° F

Essential Functions of Transportation Driver (CNA):
* Transports residents, staff, volunteers, and others to scheduled events.
* Coordinates transportation services with appropriate staff members
* Assists residents in and out of the vehicle, using proper safety procedures

* Required valid certification as a CNA in the state of Oklahoma
