    Job Description Ardurra is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Project Manager to join our team in Albuquerque, NM. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team, to lead and build upon an already established group with a solid organizational platform and to support the delivery of a variety of regional projects across our Southwest region. Primary Function In this position you will have operational responsibility for the Water/Wastewater portion of the business which includes growing, plan, directing, and overseeing water/wastewater/stormwater/infrastructure projects in New Mexico and within Ardurra's Southwest Practice. You will work closely with the Practice Director while being responsible for overall operations and profit and loss, business development, proposal development, client negotiation, project management, and oversight for water/wastewater projects, personnel, and resources. You will help build and lead our local group, as well as project teams, and provide exceptional client service. You will provide management expertise to ensure that projects are delivered on budget and on schedule. You will provide technical expertise to help develop effective solutions and to ensure the technical and quality aspects meet all client expectations and industry standards. In addition to your project responsibilities, you will provide advice, mentoring and development to other engineers. Excellent leadership, project and people management and written/verbal communication skills are all critical to success. This role blends technical depth with people leadership, requiring proficiency in complex system integrations, operational delivery methods, and cross-contract coordination. The successful candidate will serve as the technical and managerial lead, responsible for supervising team execution, ensuring systems engineering best practices, and managing risks and integration schedules. Location: Las Cruces, NM What You Will Do * Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of Systems Engineers, providing day-to-day technical oversight, coaching, and performance feedback. * Oversee systems integration projects from planning through operational transition, including installation, checkout, and test phases * Conduct and review technical impact assessments (e.g., RFC reviews), ensuring risk mitigation strategies are identified and executed. * Serve as the local primary point of contact for program stakeholders, including Government customers, SETA, military partners, and contractor personnel. * Support rapid delivery methods (Agile/GRID) and enterprise-wide planning for modernization and sustainment efforts. * Ensure systems engineering artifacts are accurate, maintained, and used effectively for collaboration and execution. * Facilitate cross-contract and cross-location collaboration to meet program milestones and customer objectives. * Provide data-driven recommendations to inform customer decision-making on upgrades, transitions, and field deployments. * Champion team development, succession planning, and knowledge continuity through structured mentorship and onboarding. * Support the contract's process improvement lifecycle across supported efforts-establish/supervise the continuous improvement plan, define and track KPIs, implement corrective/preventive actions, standardize workflows, and publish lessons learned to drive consistency across the enterprise. * Support PMO decision closure by scheduling reviews, capturing decisions, maintain the action/decision log, following up with owners and due dates, and escalating blockers. Qualifications You Must Have * Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 10 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience. * Systems installation, integration, and test experience * Direct technical or project leadership experience. * Experience managing multi-phase engineering projects with minimal oversight * Experience with requirements analysis, RFC impact assessment, Enterprise-level planning and systems delivery, agile execution in secure environments. * Experience with Service Now PPM, Atlassian JIRA and Confluence, Customer NSIS and other IC rapid delivery methods. * Experience working across geographically dispersed teams and contract boundaries. * Experience with Leadership of personnel supporting Intelligence Community customers. * An active and transferable TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. Qualifications We Prefer * Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles and tools; ability to translate MBSE concepts into practical integration and delivery strategies. * Experience mentoring engineers and developing high-performance teams. * Experience leading structured process improvements initiatives (e.g., CORE, Lean, Six Sigma) and implementing program metrics/dashboards to monitor performance and compliance. * Partnering with PMOs and governance boards to frame decisions, obtain approvals, and verify closure against documented criteria. The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
