Manager, Talent Strategy and Operations
Work you'll do
As a manager on the Talent Strategy and Operations team, you will be a jack-of-all trades internal consultant. Your work will include leading special strategy projects under the direction of our Talent Leadership Team, developing new operational processes in partnership with our subject matter experts, and working with our analytics team on tracking and reporting key outcomes, all with the support of the Talent Strategy & Operations Managing Principal and your Talent Strategy & Operations team members. Through tackling these diverse projects, you will help shape and improve the talent experience for our people while gaining knowledge of and exposure to the breadth of work across the talent channel and the Firm.
Scope, plan, and manage projects across design/develop and implement/execute phases of work
Conduct end-to-end analyses and evaluation of programs and processes, bringing together facts, analysis, and judgement to solve complex problems across a wide variety of topics
Develop compelling, logically structured communications, presentations and deliverables that frame issues and shape choices for Talent and business leaders that drive action
Drive change and continuous improvement by challenging the status quo, by being willing to test and iterate, and by identifying risks, issues, and mitigations
Be a thought partner to colleagues within the talent channel, developing relationships and establishing credibility with stakeholders, peers, and leaders
Balance the strategic and tactical, and proactively drive progress and cross-workstream collaboration by understanding and connecting dots between key objectives
Activate best practices to manage a complex talent strategy and operations portfolio and team, ranging from developing and tracking key performance indicators to creating new connections and engagement opportunities for the talent team
Keep equity top of mind in all work efforts, including demonstrating awareness of personal and organizational biases, to create equity within the team, the talent channel, and the US Firm
The team
The US Firm's Talent Strategy and Operations team partners with talent and business leaders, PPMDs, and professionals to achieve our talent priorities across strategy and ongoing operations in service of attracting, developing, retaining, and advancing top diverse talent. Focus areas include future of work, talent acquisition and onboarding, learning and development, rewards, recognition and well-being, talent channel operations and transformation, and the talent experience of our PPMDs and professionals.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 6 years of related experience
Experience working in a consultative role with stakeholders and/or clients
Experience with strategy framing and development process, including analyses, narrative development, project scoping, and/or stakeholder / change management
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado or Nevada, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and the State of Nevada and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95,070 to $175,080.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
