Delta ModTech company history timeline

1978

Founded in 1978 by President David Schiebout, Delta ModTech began as a retrofitter of small mills and lathes in the machine tool industry, installing computer controls on manually-operated machinery.

1983

1983 - To capitalize on the increase in productivity offered through computer automation and the use of servo motors, Delta ModTech expanded in 1983 into the automation controls and converting industry.

1989

1989 - In the late 80's Delta ModTech focused on developing and perfecting the our ModTech line of process modules.

1990

1990 - In the early 1990's Delta ModTech introduced the Delta Crusader.

1993

1993 - Delta ModTech rolled out our rotary heat seal module and a new line of modular in-line web packaging systems for 12" and 18" web widths.

2000

The new release included the use of Windows NT or 2000 operation system.

2001

2001 - Delta ModTech released an updated Delta Crusader Converter.

2005

2005 - Delta ModTech continues to grow and expands our network with new service and sales office in Europe.

2012

2012 - Delta ModTech unveiled their 18-24" Delta Crusader® Plus converting system.
