DELTA supports critical infrastructure protection preparedness, response, and recovery efforts within DoD and DOE through policy analysis and coordination with interagency, private sector, and foreign entities. In support of the Defense Critical Infrastructure Program (DCIP), DELTA helps sustain DCIP's mission of managing risks to essential resources for DoD missions and assets inside and outside US borders. DELTA also provides support to the Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) Vehicle Program. The MRAP vehicle program may be considered one of the most effective programs for safeguarding Soldiers, Sailors, Marines and Airmen in Southwest Asia. DELTA staff have been key members of the MRAP program since it was conceived in 2006 and have led the test and evaluation efforts throughout the life of the program.
