Responsibilities:
As a front-line representative of the Delta Sonic Team, Convenience Store Cashiers are responsible for directly interacting with our customers while providing them with fast and friendly service. This is not an ordinary cashier position; it is a fast-paced, customer-focused position that requires multi-tasking and an outgoing and friendly personality. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, transacting customer purchases with accuracy, adhering to state and/or federal tobacco and alcohol sales laws, maintaining the cleanliness of store premises, handling inventory, and replenishing store stock. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, sweeping, mopping, picking up trash, cleaning restrooms, removing snow, and performing light maintenance. Individuals in this position can enjoy working in our state-of-the-art convenience stores. The pay rate for this position is $17.50 per hour plus commission. This is a non-benefited position.
Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older
Excellent communication skills and a passion for providing great customer service
Prior experience in customer service and/or sales is preferred
Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations

Job Summary
