The Associate Technician, Production Operations for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for following established operation procedures, maintaining appropriate training records for your role, sustaining a smooth flow of material, and the execution of work orders to on-time completion.
This position reports to the Supervisor of Reagent Operations and is part of Reagent Operations department located in Chaska, MN, and will be on-site. If you thrive in a fast-paced dynamic role and want to work to build a world-class manufacturing organization-read on.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Execute daily production activities according to SOPs, ensuring due‑date conformance, quality standards, and compliance with FDA QSR, GMP, and ISO requirements.
Independently prepare buffers and reagents using good laboratory practices, applying basic analytical or scientific methods to complete daily tasks.
Collaborate closely with cross‑functional team members to troubleshoot issues and maintain a strong focus on quality throughout operations.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Must have the minimum requirement of a high school degree (or equivalent degree) with 2+ years of related experience or an AA degree with 1+ year of related experience.
Chemistry experience within a wet lab setting
Demonstrating good laboratory practices
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
A regulated industry preferred (e.g. FDA, ISO)
Testing utilizing Access II, DxI800, and DxI9000 Instruments

The Technician Production Operations is responsible for following established operational procedures, maintaining appropriate training records for your role, sustaining a smooth flow of material and the execution of work orders to on-time completion.
This position reports to the Reagent Filling Supervisor and is part of the Reagent Manufacturing located in Chaska, MN and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Train to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Follow work order information, SOPs, and other written and verbal specifications in the manufacturing process while maintaining FDA requirements.
Independently execute work regarding variety work cells of filling department.
Identify and recommend quality improvements including but not limited to production methods, equipment performance, product quality and efficiencies.
Ability to complete appropriate paperwork, maintain accurate records of production and report status of work.
Participating in kaizen/5S events, cross training to different work cells, completing quality and safety tasks as assigned.
The essential requirements of the job include:
High school degree (or equivalent degree).
2+ years of experience
Proficiency with Microsoft applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel and the basic Windows operating system.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Experience in a regulated industry preferred (e.g., FDA, ISO).

The Technician Production Operations is responsible for:
+ Read and understand and follow established work instructions and procedures with emphasis on quality.
+ Execute the daily production plan to due date conformance and quality standards.
+ Train to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Follow engineering drawings, work order information, SOPs, and other written and verbal specifications in the manufacturing process while maintaining FDA requirements.

What you will be doing:
You'll be working in a production environment where you'll be responsible for the production of cards used in the financial world for the processing of payments and credit transactions. You'll work with some of the most advanced card sorting and operations equipment on the market. Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as needed.
Operate production machines, inserters, printers and other general office equipment
Set up equipment, load materials and ensure malfunctions are cleared and production continues
Maintains productivity on all systems and delivers a quality product while meeting all production deadlines
Must be able to work with ease at repetitive task
Schedule(s):
D1: Monday - Wednesday from 7am - 7:30pm
D2: Thursday - Saturday from 7am - 7:30pm
What you bring:
Some card production experience is preferred but not necessary
The ability to be flexible and able to change in work duties and to work in a fast-paced environment
High school diploma or GED required
Able to work 3 day 12 hour shifts with 3 days on and 4 days off
Have the ability to work some overtime when needed

We are seeking a qualified candidate to help lead our Night Shift Card Production Team. In this role, you will be responsible for the flow of production, strategic placement of staff, and the execution of labor plans to meet or exceed KPIs. GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Operates production machines, inserters, printers, bursters, metering machines and general office equipment.
• Performs high-speed, high-volume production tasks such as embossing, inserting and sorting to process card materials.
• Sets up equipment, loads materials, clears jams and other simple malfunctions and unloads product from equipment.
• Maintains productivity on all systems and delivers a quality product while meeting all production deadlines.

• Reconciles incoming and completed work.
• Assign staff members to machinery and work orders.
