Create demand requirements (planned production schedule) for end products based on customer demand/forecast and production capacity. Create planned production orders in SAP accordingly. Ensure that known risks are considered in the master demand schedule, protecting the company from over-commitments.
Develop effective scheduling process to achieve on-time delivery objectives. Maintain and report KPI's on scheduling accuracy and delivery performance.
Maintain the master demand schedule for the end products in SAP. Ensure that data in SAP is accurate and can reliably predit supply of sub-assemblies and components to meet the delivery plan. Highlight any deviations to the relevant functional group.
Communicate and coordinate demand schedule with the production supervisors, MRP controllers and Product Managers.
Monitor workflow and production schedule to ensure on time delivery. Prioritize and reschedule if necessary. Provide quick and effective response to production issues, schedule deviations or demand changes.
Obtain and maintain in SAP customer details, customer orders and delivery requirements, and create a shipment plan based on the plant production plan. Communicate deviations from a previously confirmed delivery plan.
Interface with Product Managers to determine demand forecasts, and to respond to ‘drop-in' orders and short-term demand changes while minimizing impact on overall production output and efficiency.
Provide weekly and monthly shipment forecasts.
Support production related decisions by providing clear planning scenarios and analyses.
Create and maintain documentation detailing the production and shipment planning process

Position Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of demand scheduling/production scheduling/materials planning or closely related experience required, with a Bachelor's degree in management or manufacturing. Alternatively, a minimum of 3 years relevant experience with an Associate's degree, or a minimum of 5 years relevant experience required.
Extensive experience with ERP systems required, experience with SAP strongly preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft office suite, in particular Microsoft Excel required.
Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and to work independently with little day-to-day direction.

Job Description
We are expanding our team with this newly created role! This can be based at our Head Office in Melbourne or In Newmarket, Auckland! You will be working closely with our successful Demand Team and the broader Supply Chain and Operations Business Unit, you will ensure achievement of our 24 month demand plan. This is an important role as the numbers you forecast will form the basis for supply planning and financial evaluation across the business.

About the Role:
Coordinate and maintain forecast of a valid Demand Plan covering a rolling 24-month horizon (Planning Horizon) for all items within area/portfolio of responsibility;Ensure that the commercial team is aligned with the Demand Plan and that it balances business expectations and supply capacities;Ensure that the plan is correctly shared with our supply planners across multiple manufacturing sites;Perform analytical tasks to support the Supply Chain and Operations team, create efficiencies and driving continuous improvements;Uphold the Kraft Heinz values and contribute positively towards achieving our company's vision.

About You:
