SUMMARY Under the general supervision of a supervisor, the medical laboratory technician provides technical assistance in the performance of routine tests. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Prepares reagents and solutions. 2. Examine and analyze bodily fluids and cells. 3. Reports abnormalities and maintains a detailed record of daily activities. 4. Performs phlebotomy procedures when necessary. 5. Operate blood bank and type and cross-match blood samples. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Responsible for lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects. 2. Ability to lift and carry objects up to fifty (50) pounds in weight. 3. Attends mandatory meetings. 4.
