The Infusion Department Administrator provides leadership and strategic oversight for the operations of Dent's infusion centers. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of infusion services across multiple subspecialties. This role collaborates closely with the CCO, Infusion Operations Manager, physicians, and administrative teams to optimize patient care, staff performance, and departmental growth.
Responsibilities of Position:
* Supports direction and leadership for the infusion department, and operational efficiency and accuracy.
* Promote collaboration and communication between clinical, administrative, and support teams
* Partner with the CCO and Infusion Manager to support departmental goals, policies, and long-term strategies
* Oversee scheduling, staffing management, and patient flow across multiple infusion locations or service lines
* Ensure adherence to safety, infection control, and regulatory
* Assist with development, implementation, and maintaining of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for infusion services
* Monitor and report key performance indicators, including patient satisfaction, throughput, and quality metrics
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve patient outcomes
* Oversee supply chain processes and coordinate purchasing for infusion medications and materials

Position Summary: Under direct supervision, is responsible for initiating and coordinating all functions related to submitting and collecting on medical claims. This includes charge entry, payment posting, claims appeals, cash management and collections.
Responsibilities of Position:
Answer all phone calls in an effort to assist patients with billing questions
Sort mail appropriately
Demonstrates the ability to accept responsibility for appropriate conduct within the office setting and with other department associates by interacting calmly, respectfully and in a friendly manner with other representatives of services at Dent.
Maintains strict confidentiality of patient information.
Completes clerical duties in a time efficient manner as set forth by the Team Leader. Reports errors or problems so that appropriate action may be taken for patient care.
Performs other duties as assigned or requested

Prepares all payments for posting
Enters all deposits and checks into appropriate spreadsheet.
A/R Follow-up:
Works denials from all insurances for assigned physicians.
Works accounts receivable for unpaid claims for assigned physicians.
Follows up on insurance inquiries to ensure payment is received.
Works Workers Comp and No Fault denials.
Works accounts receivable for unpaid Comp and No Fault claims.

Position Summary:

Assists in compilation of data for regular and special reports as requested by Team Leader or other personnel.
Represents Dent by displaying a respectful and caring manner with patients and their families. Answers telephone, takes messages, transfers calls and provides information to other Dent departments upon request. Problem solves and utilizes resources to obtain patient information when patient is unable to communicate, seeking assistance as needed.

Performs high quality MRI studies as ordered for expedited and accurate interpretation, recognizing needs for immediate medical intervention and reporting those studies accordingly.

Operates a variety of sophisticated medical equipment including Phillips and Siemens MRI Systems, Medrad Power Injector, AGFA Drystar film printer, computers, printers and recording devices.
Consults with Neuroimaging physicians at Dent in matters of departmental and equipment issues with a high degree of planning and initiative. Ensures proper function and maintenance of MRI equipment by consulting with service technicians under contract with Dent.
Coordinates scheduling of examinations with outside physician group referral sources to meet the needs of the patient and physician.
Independently problem solves and utilizes resources to obtain patient information when patient is unable to communicate. Assists in clerical duties as needed, functioning as a member of the health care team.
Maintains proper and appropriate records, logs and statistics of all patients seen in imaging centers. Develops and maintains monthly QA reports for imaging equipment.
Potentially may participate in clinical research studies in cooperation with outside referring physicians, maintaining valid data for Department of Neuroimaging. Develops and maintains educational case studies as requested, maintaining teaching files and lecture presentation materials. Under direction of Dent Neuroimaging physicians, assists in the education and training of Neuroimaging residents and fellows in performance of MRI studies.
Continually becomes educated on necessary protocols and/or changes to ensure all patient needs and ACR accreditation needs are met.
Administers IV contrast, injection and oral medications as per written/verbal MD order and imaging policy.
Maintains acceptable working conditions, assisting in development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote a safe, effective, quality driven work environment. Maintains competence through continuing education and in-service training.
Interacts calmly, respectfully and in a friendly manner with other representatives of services at the Dent.
Refers patients to proper clinical resources for health care questions and to proper personnel for Dent policies such as billing and or financial support. Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
