Key Responsibilities: Fabricate orthodontic appliances, retainers, aligners, and models using digital and manual techniques. Assist the orthodontist with placing and adjusting braces, archwires, and other orthodontic appliances. Take and pour dental impressions, digital scans, and bite registrations. Perform wire bending, trimming, and polishing of appliances. Maintain and sterilize orthodontic instruments and equipment. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and appliance care. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure high-quality lab work. Collaborate with the orthodontist and team to ensure efficient patient care. Follow OSHA and HIPAA guidelines for safety and compliance. Qualifications Minimum 2 years experience as an Orthodontic Assistant Knowledge of orthodontic materials, appliances, and lab procedures. Proficiency in using dental software and digital scanning technology (e.g., iTero, 3Shape).
