POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Certification: Must hold current certification as a Medical Assistant by American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Medical Technologist (AMT), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA), or any certifications agency recognized by the medical board of the issuing state (or obtain within 90 days of hire date). Ensures that all aspects of patient care and observations are documented, accurately and timely. Communication Answers telephones, routes callers, takes messages and provides routine information to callers. Returns Phone calls in a timely manner. Relays messages to appropriate staff members through In Basket of EMR. Efficient with working in EMR and the in Basket within EMR.
