WORK ENVIRONMENT
As a Hospital Corpsman, you have the most diverse range of work environments available in the Navy. Your job will likely take you all over the worldand far out of your comfort zone. PART-TIME OPPORTUNITIES
Serving part-time as a Navy Reserve Sailor, your duties will be carried out during your scheduled drilling and training periods. During monthly drilling, Hospital Corpsmen in the Navy Reserve typically work at a location close to their homes.

Community Care Family Medicine is looking for a Medical Assistant to join their team! The hours are: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm.
Responsibilities:
Document verbal conversations and information into the patient records in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
Maintain timely patient flow.
Prepare patient for visit as appropriate, based on office/provider requirements.
Obtain specimens (i.e., urine, blood, etc.) from patients as directed by the provider.
Accurate and timely order entry into the lab system.
Perform clinical office procedures as directed by the provider (i.e. EKG, PFT, etc.).
Assist providers with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.

Compensation: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Minimum Qualifications
Current dental hygienist license in New York and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
CPR Certification
Preferred Experience
Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
Clinical needs as required by office
Physical Requirements
