Directs and coordinates all care delivered by the MAs based on established clinical care standards and regulatory practice.
Reviews and oversees documentation by staff to ensure compliance with industry and departmental standards.
Works with the PACE administration, Manager of Clinic Operations, and direct care staff to develop and revise CalOptima Health's PACE policies and desktop references related to the PACE clinic.
Organizes periodic and ongoing in‐service training for direct reports.
Maintains MA schedule and ensures daily staffing is adequate and sufficient for all appointments and providers.
Provides guidance when handling complex direct and indirect patient care issues.

Do You Have What the Role Requires?
High school diploma PLUS 1 year of experience working with the frail or elderly population required; an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the position such as those listed above may also be qualifying.
3 years of supervisory experience or acting in a leadership role required.
CPR and First‐Aid Certification required or must be obtained within six (6) months of date of hire.
