Responsibilities:
Our Hygienists are responsible for delivering direct dental care and associated services to patients under the general supervision of a dentist and for providing general support to the office.
Deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient
Deliver direct patient care to patients, including scaling and prophylaxis, x-rays, application of sealants and fluoride, and related procedures, under the general supervision of a dentist
Provide excellent customer service by looking for opportunities to offer Same Day Care
Educate patients and parents in oral hygiene instruction
Assess the dental condition and needs of patients and review patients' medical history
Responsible for adhering to all government regulations and company standards
Guide parents and patients through our entire treatment process
Assist with dental and perio charting; when necessary
Take x-rays and save into patient charts, when necessary
Provide memorable patient experiences by showing compassion for our patients and parents

Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in good standing
CPR (BLS) from the ARC or AHA, including hands-on skill assessment (required upon hire)

The Dental Assistant will be responsible for the fabrication of quality prosthetic denture products in accordance with established protocols and specifications. This includes reading prescriptions or specifications and examining models or impressions to determine the design of dental products to be constructed. Testing appliances for conformance to specifications and accuracy of occlusion, using articulators and micrometers.
Key Responsibilities
Ability to use various tools and equipment in a lab environment: trimmers, grinders, lathes, articulators and cleaning devices
Take impressions and pour models
Complete denture set-up and finishing work
Collaborate with dentist and other members of the dental team to ensure a proper fit and function of the prosthetic
Use a software to digitally design denture cases
Handle and maintain 3D printer materials and equipment
Post-processing (cleaning) and finishing of dental appliances
Fabricate crowns and bridges
Manufacture fixed or removable appliances
Keep the lab orderly and stocked

Qualifications

1-2 years of working experience within dentures and dental labs, preferred but not necessary.

Skills such as arts/crafts, detailed painting, sewing, jewelry making and pottery; tasks that require details hand eye coordination will be helpful in excelling in this position.

We are looking for experienced DA to become fully trained instructors for scheduled classes. We are also looking for teaching assistants and secondary substitute rolls for both morning and evening classes. Full Paid training.
Evening classes run Monday-Thursday 5:30-10
Morning classes run Monday-Thursday 8:30-1

Dental Assistant Instructor duties include:
Teach in the Dental Assisting classroom with 10-20 students, covering clinical and administrative skills.
Learning the material and delivering lectures and demonstrations, working from the Ross lesson plans and curriculum.
Class sessions are 4.5 hours in either day or evening sessions.
This is a part-time position, typically 9-18 hours per week.

Dental Assistant Instructor
Requirements
3+ years' experience in the field and a national certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA from AMT) or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA from DANB) and formal training in a dental assisting program like Ross. If you do not have the formal education, you can also qualify with 5+ years' experience in the field and a national certification. *additional requirements or exceptions may be applicable based on the state, program, and accreditation requirements
Interest in teaching or prior experience
Must be flexible and have a passion to learn and grow
