of nutrition and general health in oral care.

Responsibilities include: Actively and efficiently managing the flow of patients through the clinic, Rooming patients, Assisting providers with medical histories, Documenting in the electronic health record, Checking routine vital signs and point of care testing, Assisting providers with clinical procedures, Booking screening tests as part of the outreach process and booking follow up appointments (e.g., well child visits, vaccine booster visits), Participating in proactive population management of chronic diseases by generating MyCHArt messages, sending templated letters, and calling patients by telephone, Other duties as required.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program or one year of previous experience as a medical assistant in lieu of program completion required.
Certifications: Maintains current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification
Linguistic Capabilities: Ability to write and verbally communicate in English. Fluency in a second language is preferred.
Work Experience: Current experience as a Medical Assistant preferred. Experience with administrative duties in a clinical setting preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES
Hospital Corpsmen (HM) assist health care professionals in providing medical care to Navy personnel and their families. Specifically, Hospital Corpsmen may be called upon to:
