We're looking for someone to join our team as a Float Registered Dental Assistant who:
Under the Direct supervision of a dentist, which means supervision of dental procedures based on instructions given by a licensed dentist who must be physically present in the treatment facility during the performance of those procedures. We're looking for someone to join our team as a Float Registered Dental Assistant who:
Under the Direct supervision of a dentist, which means supervision of dental procedures based on instructions given by a licensed dentist who must be physically present in the treatment facility during the performance of those procedures. The duty must be performed pursuant to the order, control and full professional responsibility of the supervising dentist. Such procedures must be checked and approved by the supervising dentist prior to dismissal of the patient from the office of said dentist.
Essential Functions
Dental Assistant will be proficient in four handed dentistry.
Assist the dentist in all aspects of chairside assisting. These duties include but not limited to:
Draping and seating the patient in dental chair. Placing proper tray set up and developing room preparation. Will confirm all treatment is recorded in the chart and all the necessary information of the patient visit is indicated on route slips.
Operate Dental radiography equipment
Apply topical agents
Remove dressings
Must be an active and enthusiastic team member.
Will fill in as Dental Receptionist to answer telephone calls, route and assist incoming patients and any other tasks as designated.
