The Holloway Community Program at ChristianaCare was established in October of 1989. Since its inception, the Holloway Community Program has been the major care provider for people with HIV/AIDS throughout the state of Delaware. It is estimated that the HIV Program provides care to 65 percent of the people in Delaware who are HIV-positive and accessing medical services. The Holloway Community Program has a staff of 51 professionals, including five board-certified infectious-disease doctors, board-certified internal-medicine doctors, an OB/GYN provider, nurses and nurse practitioners, pharmacists, a psychiatrist, and behavioral health consultants. As a medical assistant you will be responsible for assisting physicians in the examination and treatment of patients with virtual and on-site appointments.
