Requirements
3+ years of experience in general dentistry
2+ year(s) EDDA experience
Expanded Duty Dental Assistant certification preferred
Active CPR Certification required

Key Responsibilities:
Fabricate orthodontic appliances, retainers, aligners, and models using digital and manual techniques.
Assist the orthodontist with placing and adjusting braces, archwires, and other orthodontic appliances.

This position will work between our Thornton and Tower offices.
Schedule (days/hours)
2 Thursdays a Month 8am-5pm
Responsibilities
* Establish a trusting rapport with patients, ensuring that the ultimate patient experience is delivered to every patient.
* Place and remove arch wires, elastic ties, power chains, and other orthodontic auxiliaries (as allowed by state regulations).
* Educate the patients on orthodontic care, headgear delivery and rubber band instructions.
* Assist in patient care including assisting in placing and removing orthodontic appliances, and taking full records to include Panoramic and Cephalometric x-rays.
* Maintain patients' charts and transcribe the doctor's notes accurately and assure home care instructions are clear to patients and/or guardian.
* Perform laboratory procedures including model pour up, trimming and fabricating clearn aligners.
* Keep chairs stocked and organized as well as clean, sterilize, and prepare the equipment.
Qualifications
* Colarado Xray certification required
* 1 year Ortho Assisting experience required
* CPR certified
Compensation
$20-$23/hr
