The oral surgery section operates at a clinic site in Bronx, NY and provides care to a large pool of underserved patients with diverse needs and backgrounds. Our department provides general practice, dental anesthesia, pediatric, orthodontic and oral surgery services. The scope of oral surgery care involves both interceptive and comprehensive care, child and adult treatment, using a large variety of techniques. As an educational site, we accept residents for each service we provide including 3 fellow oral surgery residents every year, quarterly, from Brooklyn Hospital. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Promote a safe, cooperative and professional health care environment to ensure optimum patient care (as per HR Policy 113c). 2. Adheres to all hospital policies, procedures, rules and regulations, including but not limited to, absenteeism, ETIME, cellular telephone usage, dress code and rules of conduct. 3. Makes Customer Service a priority, treating customers (patients, visitors, and co-workers) in a professional manner exercising courtesy and tact.
