DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepares operatory room, instruments and additional supplies for the surgical procedure. Greets and escorts patient into operatory room and prepares them for the Oral Surgeon/Periodontist by explaining to the patient the procedure and addressing any concerns. As an educational site, we accept residents for each service we provide including 3 fellow oral surgery residents every year, quarterly, from Brooklyn Hospital. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Promote a safe, cooperative and professional health care environment to ensure optimum patient care (as per HR Policy 113c). 2. Adheres to all hospital policies, procedures, rules and regulations, including but not limited to, absenteeism, ETIME, cellular telephone usage, dress code and rules of conduct. 3.
