QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 1 years of dental assisting (EDDA) experience
Must have experience in multi surface filling and dentures
Active CPR and AED training
Current certification to monitor Nitrous Oxide preferred

Dental practice management software (Open Dental/Dentrix) experience helpful
Sealant, Coronal Polishing, or PALS Certifications are all a huge plus!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assist the doctor in restorative procedures, composite fillings, crown and bridge, dentures, taking impressions, taking FMX, charting sterilization, placing rubber dam, pouring up models, root canals, and extractions
Focusing on Patient Safety and Team Safety as priority one
Adhering to OSHA and Infection Control Protocols, and disposing of sharps and clinical waste in a prompt and safe manner
Maintaining digital patient artifacts such as health history, insurance eligibility, treatment plans, pre-authorizations, lab requests, procedures, and appointment details
Educating patients and parents on the benefits of good oral health
Monitoring the patient's physical and emotional well-being during the entire visit
Preparing tray set-ups according to doctor preferences and planned procedures
Ensuring that exam rooms and operatories are cleaned, disinfected, organized, and stocked according to the required standards at the beginning and end of each patient interaction
Charting existing treatment for new patients by updating the patient chart with entries for fillings, crowns, sealants, etc.
Reviewing the patient chart and health history prior to the doctor arrival and reconfirming the patient's chief concern
Taking diagnostic quality X-Rays and attaching them to the patient chart
Helping the Rodeo Team clean surfaces, sinks, floors and common areas of exam rooms, operatories, reception, break rooms, restrooms, etc.
Performs all other duties as assigned
Compensation Range: $24-$28 per hour

How you will contribute:
* You will answer phones, and greet and focus on our donors, while ensuring the safety of donors and our team.
* You will screen new and repeat donors and take and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
* You will use our Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
* You will help identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using company approved procedures.
