Key Responsibilities:
Executive Support
Manage complex calendars, coordinate high-level meetings across departments and external partners
Prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items
Handle confidential correspondence and communications on behalf of the SVP and other members of the Physician Enterprise Team
Physician Communication & Engagement
Assist in developing and distributing internal communications to physicians and practice leaders
Support planning and execution of physician town halls, leadership forums, and strategic events
Maintain contact lists and communication channels for rapid outreach
Administrative Operations
Process expense reports, check requests, and timecard approvals
Maintain filing systems, office supplies, and departmental records
Liaise with HR, Finance, and Operations teams as needed
Special Projects
Support strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects as assigned
Assist with data collection, presentation development, and project tracking
Coordinate logistics for site visits, retreats, and executive planning sessions
We Require:
HS Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
2-3 years of experience supporting senior executives or physician leadership

High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

As an educational site, we accept residents for each service we provide including 3 fellow oral surgery residents every year, quarterly, from Brooklyn Hospital.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Promote a safe, cooperative and professional health care environment to ensure optimum patient care (as per HR Policy 113c).
2. Adheres to all hospital policies, procedures, rules and regulations, including but not limited to, absenteeism, ETIME, cellular telephone usage, dress code and rules of conduct.
3. Makes Customer Service a priority, treating customers (patients, visitors, and co-workers) in a professional manner exercising courtesy and tact. You will provide assistance to the dentist during exams and procedures and complete administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments. Responsibilities
Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable
Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have
Take vital signs and accurately record medical history
Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures
Assist dentist during procedures and exams
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies
Schedule appointments
Qualifications
Associates Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation
Current Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certificate or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) state licensure by the Dental Assisting National Board's (DANB)
Previous experience as a dental assistant
Strong computer and data entry skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to provide high-quality patient care

Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and caring Orthodontic Assistant to join our team! As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will provide top-notch dental care that makes our patients feel like family. You will provide assistance to the Orthodontist during procedures and be responsible for your own column of patients along with completing clinical related tasks. The ideal candidate has at least two years as a full Orthodontic assistant and some experience with lingual braces. Lingual braces experience is not mandatory but preferred. If you meet the minimum qualifications and youre friendly, outgoing, and committed to creating a fantastic dental experience, we want to hear from you!
Hours
Mondays 9 AM-5 PM
Tuesdays 9 AM-5 PM
Thursdays: 8 AM-4 PM
Responsibilities
Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable, offer refreshments
Explain the dental care visit with patients and answer any questions they may have
Input accurate treatment chart notes
Prep sterilized equipment
Assist dentist during procedures and exams
Bond lingual braces, Invisalign attachments, bond fixed retainers, take impression, full dental records etc.
Ortho adjustments
Adhere to all OSHA health and safety regulations and office policies
Work as a team!
Qualifications
Previous 2 years' experience as an ortho assistant (NOT DENTAL ASSISTANT)
Strong computer and data entry skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to provide high-quality patient care
Team player
Fluent English speaking
Current COA certification, not required, but preferred

What You'll Do:
Prepare patient records and charts ahead of surgical visits
Take and process X-rays and 3D scans using modern equipment (CBCT, iTero)
Sterilize and organize surgical instruments according to OSHA standards
Assist during periodontal and oral surgery procedures: setup, suction, material handling, sedation prep, and post-op cleanup
Monitor patient vitals and ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures
Review post-op instructions and answer basic patient questions related to follow-up
Track inventory and order surgical supplies as needed
Support with operatory turnover and maintain a clean, well-stocked workspace
Occasionally assist with front desk or patient flow coordination as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED (required)
Completion of a Certified Dental Assistant program (preferred)
1+ years of experience in surgical dental assisting (required)
CPR and Radiology certifications (required)
Strong familiarity with infection control, sterilization, and dental surgical protocol
Excellent patient communication and clinical support skills
A calm, team-first attitude under pressure
