Job Summary
The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) provides patient care under the supervision of a medical provider. This role supports clinical and administrative functions, including assisting with medical procedures, maintaining exam rooms, managing patient intake, and ensuring efficient clinic operations while delivering excellent patient service.
Essential Functions
Assists providers with clinical procedures such as taking vital signs, wound care, suture removal, administering injections, phlebotomy, vaccines, performing urine tests, EKGs, and applying splints or other specialty-specific tasks.
Prepares and cleans exam rooms for patient visits and clinical procedures.
Performs patient intake duties, including reporting test results, phone triage, and documenting medical information as directed by licensed personnel or providers.
Reviews and maintains daily logs and documentation.
Supports administrative duties, including pre-registering patients, scheduling appointments, coordinating referrals, verifying insurance eligibility, and managing clinic communications.
Maintains an organized workload while providing prompt, courteous, and efficient service to providers, patients, and visitors.
Monitors and requisitions clinic supplies and equipment to ensure appropriate inventory levels and functionality.
Educates patients on medications, diets, and other health-related topics, addressing questions to ensure understanding.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
Complies with all policies and standards.
Qualifications
0-1 years of experience in a medical practice setting or completion of externship program required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of medical office procedures and patient care techniques.
Proficiency in medical record systems and basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
Understanding of medical terminology and infection control practices.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide excellent patient service.
Demonstrated time management and organizational abilities in a fast-paced environment.
Critical thinking skills for analyzing and resolving clinical and administrative challenges.
Ability to perform care according to age-specific competencies.
Licenses and Certifications
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)-AAMA required or

Job Summary
We are seeking a front desk Registered Dental Assistant located in Rogers, AR. The Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) is responsible for aiding the dentist in dental treatments and patient care. Responsibilities
Maintains patient flow so as to assure prompt service for patients.
Maintains treatment room supplies and cleanliness for optimal efficiency.
Ensures patient information is entered into the electronic medical record (EMR) accurately, including but not limited to:
Dental procedures.
Appointments.
Super-bills.
Performs or assists as requested by dentist in procedures and examinations within guidelines of certification and/or training:
Performs dental cleanings and fluoride treatments.
Administers Sedation to patients, as needed
Administers Nitrous Oxide.
Takes and develops dental x-rays
Monitors patients and assists doctor during treatments and exams.
Explains treatment options and post-care instructions to patient and family.
Provides training and support for new and existing staff.
Maintains a clean and orderly work environment to ensure the professional appearance of the dental clinic at all times.
Adheres to applicable regulatory guidelines and laws, including but not limited to, the Arkansas State Board of Dental Examiners, HIPAA/HITECH, HRSA, NCQA PCMH and OSHA.
Ensures that Community Clinic will not cause or allow any organizational practice, activity, decision or circumstance which is unlawful, imprudent, and negligent, contrary to mission, vision or policies or in violation of commonly accepted nonprofit or professional ethics.

Upon direction from the treating dentist, demonstrate ability to prepare wax bites
Upon direction and supervision of the treating dentist, and within legal guidelines of expanded duties, assist dentist with adjustments on dentures and denture insertions
Tally time sheets in an accurate and timely manner and give to FDA for dentist approval and signature
Assist treating dentist with surgery
Take and develop x-rays as needed (has certification, where certification is required)
Consistently sterilize instruments with minimal direction, including impression trays and hand piece burs and wipes down equipment after each patient
Escort each patient to the check out area, with appropriate paperwork
Maintain clean work area at all times; participate in daily cleaning duties, including vacuuming and emptying of waste receptacles, cleaning operatories and instruments
Inventory and re-order supplies as instructed
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Minimal travel may be required for training and/or continuing education purposes
Other duties as assigned
Educational Requirements:
Must possess an active DA and X-ray certification
HS Diploma
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
At least one year of hands-on experience assisting with dentures and/or implants
Experience in taking impressions for dentures preferred
Moderate physical activity
Ability to sit, stand, bend and stoop for periods of time

As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will assist the Orthodontist with patients to ensure the highest quality of care is provided. Perform clinical and technical procedures under the direct supervision of a licensed Orthodontist. Prepare patient operatories, equipment, and assist the doctor during examination and ortho treatment.
What You'll Do
* Assist the Orthodontist during exams and treatments, ensuring patients are comfortable and procedures run smoothly.
* Prepare operatories, sterilize equipment, and support clinical workflows to maximize efficiency.
* Perform orthodontic procedures such as placing/removing wires, coil springs, bands, and retainers under direct supervision.
* Conduct digital scans and assist in fabricating customized appliances and retainers.
* Educate patients on treatment plans, oral hygiene, and appliance care to ensure they are fully informed and confident.
* Record treatment notes accurately and collaborate with the team to deliver outstanding care throughout the patient's journey.
What We're Looking For
* Experience in dental or orthodontic assisting.
* Familiarity with orthodontic appliances, procedures, and terminology.

A few specific job duties:
Must communicate clearly and calmly the treatment needs to parent and patient utilizing prescribed treatment plan.
Must be able to recognize and identify prior authorization requirements, along with ensuring signed consent forms.
Maintain awareness of comfort and safety needs of patients.
Provide clear and concise documentation of all treatment rendered using electronic and paper dental records and forms.
Perform general housekeeping and restocking as needed.
