Surgery: Working directly alongside our Plastic Surgeon in the operating room and supporting patient care in clinic. Key Responsibilities Provide patient consultations, assessments, and ongoing care in wellness programs (weight loss, hormones, peptides, shockwave therapy, etc.). Perform aesthetic injectable treatments (neuromodulators, dermal fillers, functional injectables) with an emphasis on safety, education, and natural results. Assist in the operating room, including pre-op and post-op patient management. Support clinic visits by evaluating patients, reviewing medical history, and coordinating care with the surgeon and clinical team. Educate patients on treatment options, aftercare, and overall health optimization. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, MAs, and the medi spa team to deliver a seamless, patient-centered experience. Participate in team meetings, trainings, and continuing education to stay current on the latest techniques and trends. Qualifications Current Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) with an active Oregon license (or ability to obtain). Experience or interest in aesthetics, wellness medicine, and/or plastic surgery. Patient Care & Clinical Duties: Administer MAT medications (e.g., buprenorphine, methadone, naltrexone) in accordance with provider orders and facility protocols. Conduct intake screenings and assessments for MAT eligibility in collaboration with providers. Provide education to AICs on MAT, medication adherence, and recovery support. Monitor and document patient response to medications, side effects, and treatment outcomes. Discharge Planning & Continuity of Care: Coordinate discharge planning for MAT participants to ensure seamless continuity of care upon release. Establish and maintain referral relationships with community MAT providers and recovery programs. Ensure proper release-of-information and documentation are completed for continuity of treatment. Training & Oversight: Work alongside nursing and custody staff to ensure safe and effective medication delivery practices. Train nursing staff in MAT-related protocols and support new staff in understanding MAT workflows. Collaborate with the medical provider and site leadership to evaluate and improve MAT program delivery. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate across medical, mental health, and custody staff. Ability to provide compassionate, nonjudgmental care to individuals with substance use disorders. Competence with EMR systems (experience with CorEMR preferred). QualificationsEducation & Licensure: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) with current, unrestricted Oregon license. Current CPR/BLS certification required. Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience (REQUIRED) Experience in correctional healthcare, addiction treatment, or psychiatric/behavioral health (REQUIRED) Familiarity with NCCHC, HIPAA, and Oregon Board of Nursing standards of practice.
