Compensation: $18.00 - $27.00 per hour The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) provides patient care in accordance with established methods and techniques and conforms to recognized standards. The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) assists practitioner in performing procedures, telephone prescription orders/refills, maintaining patient records and relaying test results. Principal Responsibilities: 1. Will participate and maintain a culture within The Corvallis Clinic consistent with the content outlined in the Service and Behavioral Standards document. Improves the quality of care through continuing education and self-evaluation of the effectiveness of care. This includes attendance and participation in most in-services/department meetings and remaining current on clinic/department policies and procedures. 8. Proactively monitors provider schedules for accuracy. 9. Performs injections under direct supervision of provider per clinic policy, as needed. 10. Actively participate in the cleaning of shared work areas. Keeping exam rooms clean, neat and stocked. 11. Participates in the orientation and training of new employees. Education, Licensure and Experience: 1. High school diploma or equivalent required. 2. Certificate from a medical assistant program required (AAMA, NHA, AMT, or NCCT). 3.
