Responsibilities Assist the orthodontist during clinical procedures, including placing and removing archwires, bands, and brackets as permitted by California Dental Board regulations. Take digital impressions, intraoral scans, photographs, and X-rays (with required CA certifications). Prepare and maintain operatories, sterilize instruments, and ensure infection-control compliance Provide patient instructions for oral hygiene, appliance care, and post-treatment guidelines. Manage appointment flow, update patient records, and assist with treatment coordination. Monitor inventory and restock clinical supplies.
