Position Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to join Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health Physicians Orthopaedics, a busy and rapidly growing practice with a strong focus on teamwork and the patient experience. Our aim is to provide patient care in a kinder, gentler way by focusing on each individual patient and his or her unique circumstances. This APP role would be largely outpatient with on-call responsibilities. The office location would be in Parkesburg; however, travel would be required to Lancaster General Hospital on surgery days. The APP will be supporting an Orthopedic surgeon with a focus on joint replacements and general orthopedics. This APP will oversee post-operative care in the outpatient setting, perform minor procedures such as joint injections, complete workup for new consultations to our practice as well as fulfilling the first assistant role in the OR approximately 2 days/week.
Hours: Fulltime (1.0 FTE), with hours generally falling between 7am - 5pm. The position includes rotating holiday coverage and 1 week of on-call on an every 6?8-week rotation.
Minimum Requirements:
Physician Assistant
Current licensure as a Physician Assistant by PA Board of Medicine.
Graduate of Accredited Physician Assistant training program.
Minimum one-year experience as a Physician Assistant is preferred.
Valid, unrestricted federal Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) number
Credentialed by the medical staff in accordance with current policy and procedure.

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.87/hour
Spark Orthodontics is seeking a passionate Orthodontic Assistant to join our close-knit team in providing top-notch dental care to our patients.
As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients feel comfortable and receive the best quality orthodontic care possible. We are looking for a candidate who is energetic, positive, and upbeat, has a willingness to learn, and communicates well with others.
Experience is a big plus, but we are also willing to train the right person if you have no experience. We want you to bring your passion, skills, and drive to help patients achieve beautiful smiles while creating “wow” experiences at every visit!
Schedule & Location: 7:45 am - 5:30 pm, Monday - Thursday, 7:45 am - 2:30 PM, 1 - 3 Fridays a month in Camp Hill, PA.
*Travel to the Spark Orthodontics Lancaster, Harrisburg & York, locations is required, on an as needed basis.
Responsibilities
Maintain a positive and friendly attitude and deliver excellent customer service to patients
Coordinate patient care and treatment according to the doctor and other team members
Assist the orthodontist during procedures, including taking X-rays, preparing materials, and providing chairside support
Ensure a clean and sterile environment by following proper infection control protocols and aseptic techniques
Properly sterilizes instruments on a regular basis
Assists doctor with cementation of bands and bracket placement
Properly take the correct x-rays when needed on each patient
Qualifications
Previous orthodontics experience is preferred but not required
Warm, friendly, courteous, and enjoys working with children
Punctual, responsible, and a fast learner
Ability to multitask is critical
Be receptive to training and coaching on best practices
