Job Responsibilities
Establish rapport with patients by greeting them with a smile and maintaining a professional image in appearance and manner
Complete patient check-in and pre-registration
Introduce patient to clinical staff and escort patient to treatment area
Monitor Doctor and Hygienist timeliness and inform patient of any delays
Resolve patient concerns; answer or seek to find an answer to patient inquiries
Collect treatment fees due from patient and document date-of-service payment
Update patient accounts on an on-going basis
Provide coverage for Dental Assistants to account for absences and assist during high volume periods
Receive, distribute, and stock dental supplies
Sterilization of instruments
Disposal of used supplies, waste, and hazardous materials in the proper containers
Properly disinfecting operatory upon request
Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 2 years in the dental or healthcare field preferred

Provide a positive experience throughout the entire patient interaction; from greeting, to seating and completing their in-clinic visit

As a key member of our IT team, the IT Support Specialist provides advanced technical support for Dental Associates' clinical operations across Wisconsin. This role offers a dynamic mix of on-site and remote support, ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient performance of all clinic-based technology systems. This includes Windows endpoints, Citrix environments, Denticon practice management software, digital imaging equipment (e.g., x-ray sensors, CBCT), printing/scanning solutions, and related peripherals.
You'll serve as a frontline escalation point, working closely with providers, clinical staff, and IT leadership to keep patient care uninterrupted by technology issues. You'll also contribute to device lifecycle management, standardization efforts, and the rollout of new technologies.
Provide on-site and remote Tier 1/2 technical support for clinic staff and systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving desktops, laptops, thin clients, printers, scanners, VoIP phones, x-ray sensors, CBCT units, and other imaging hardware.
Support clinical software environments including Denticon, XVWeb, XVCapture, and other vendor platforms.
Manage Citrix session issues, Windows OS troubleshooting, and Active Directory access requests.
Perform device configuration, deployment, and routine maintenance, ensuring standard images and endpoint protection are applied.
Document and manage IT asset inventory for clinics and corporate systems.
Partner with IT Infrastructure, Applications, and Cybersecurity teams for escalations, system rollouts, and updates.
Travel regularly to remote clinic locations for hands-on support and technology deployments.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
Associate degree in Information Technology or related field; equivalent experience also considered.
3+ years experience in Tier 1/2 support or service desk role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
3+ years supporting endpoint environments with centralized device management tools (e.g., SCCM, Intune).
Technical Skills
Strong troubleshooting experience with Windows 10/11 and Citrix virtual desktop environments.
Familiarity with practice management systems (preferably Denticon) and dental imaging software.
Knowledge of networking concepts, Active Directory, and antivirus/malware tools.
Comfortable working with scanning, printing, and document management systems.
Experience supporting mobile devices (iOS, Android) and collaboration tools (Teams, Outlook).

Job Responsibilities
Assist provider throughout exam including complex treatment, surgery, & all operatory-related care
Explain treatment procedures; seek clarification and understanding from patient
Review and assist patient in updating iPad medical history
Assist provider with patient education
Take patient blood pressure, X-rays and radiographs
Monitor oxygen levels when nitrous or IV is administered
Make impressions and fabricate crowns as instructed
Prepare and record clinical notes, charting and patient record
Prepare operatory for patient exam; sterilize instruments and disinfect operatory
Order dental supplies
Provide coverage for Dental Services Representatives to account for absences or high-volume periods
Job Requirements
Previous Dental Assistant experience or completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required
Knowledge of state dental practices requirements, including X-ray proficiency and OSHA training strongly preferred
Effective interpersonal skills to maintain rapport with patients, dentists, and other staff members
Good customer service skills and ability to work as a team in fast-paced environment

Qualifications
DDS/DMD from an accredited Dental School
Active Dental License in the state of Wisconsin
