Minimum Qualifications

The Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate DentalHygienist to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing dental hygiene treatments and providing oral health education to our patients. You will utilize your knowledge and expertise to examine patients' teeth and gums, perform deep cleanings, take X-rays, and administer fluoride treatments. Your primary goal will be to help patients achieve and maintain excellent oral health.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough oral examinations of patients' teeth and gums to identify any oral health issues
Clean and polish patients' teeth to remove plaque and calculus, focusing on areas that are difficult to reach during regular brushing
Take and develop dental X-rays to assist in diagnosing dental conditions and determine the appropriate treatment plans
Apply sealants, fluoride, and other preventive treatments to protect patients' teeth
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for maintaining optimal dental health
Identify and educate patients on periodontal disease risk factors, and develop customized treatment plans
Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring the patient's comfort and helping with any necessary tools or equipment
Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes
Stay up-to-date with advances in dental hygiene techniques and tools through continuous education and professional development
Required Skills and Qualifications
Valid DentalHygienist license in the state of Nebraska
