Dental diagnosis, including assessment of data about client's condition, for the development of a professional treatment plan, subject to the Dentist's approval Creating a sequential treatment plan for the patient. Implementing the treatment plan in a timely and effective manner. Evaluating or determining the effectiveness of the treatment plan that was administered. Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Maintains instrumentation for dental hygiene treatment by sharpening, sterilizing, and selecting instruments. Participates in RHMPI's Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) Care Team collaboration approach to ensure quality, comprehensive, and coordinated team-based care is delivered to patients in a team-based care environment. Performs additional duties as assigned by immediate supervisor's approval. Working Conditions This position requires manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination for easy and skillful use of hands when working with and performing normal office duties and responsibilities. The employee is required to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, crouch, kneel, and reach with hands and arms frequently. Good listening skills are necessary to receive detailed information via oral and or written communication(s) and to make objective nondiscrimination decisions. Visual acuity is needed to assess color changes, verify the accuracy of written materials, and accurately prepare and administer medications.
