The Salvation Army Northern Division Rochester Corps Dental Hygienist is responsible for working alongside volunteer dental professionals to provide emergency dental care. $30.00 - $31.73/hour, 24 hours/week Essential Functions (approximate time spent) * Deliver local anesthesia and prepare patient for treatment by dentist. (30%) * Take and record vitals and digital x-rays. (15%) * Assure that operatories are supplied and ready for dental services (primarily tooth extractions). (10%) * Clean and sterilize equipment and instruments according to standard practice and governing policies. (10%) * Provide patients with preventive and follow-up care instructions and education.
