Job Summary: The Podiatrist will provide comprehensive foot and ankle care for patients of all ages in a community health setting. The Podiatrist is responsible for diagnosing, treating, and preventing foot and ankle disorders, with a strong focus on diabetic foot care, wound management, and preventive education. This role is critical in supporting the overall mission of the health center to provide accessible, high-quality care to underserved populations. Duties and Responsibilities: * Perform physical exams and diagnostic assessments of foot and ankle conditions * Develop treatment plans and manage acute and chronic foot and ankle issues, including diabetic foot complications. * Provide wound care management, minor surgical procedures, orthotic fitting, and other podiatric interventions. * Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists as part of an integrated care team. * Educate patients on foot care, hygiene, prevention of foot diseases, and proper footwear. * Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) * Participate in quality improvement initiatives and comply with HRSA/FQHC regulations and standards. * Participate in staff meetings, continuing education, and community outreach events, as needed. * Will be traveling to multiple SBNC clinics.
