The Director of Operations is an executive position responsible for overseeing the operations of an organization.
This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and operational expertise. This position works closely with the executive team to develop and implement strategic plans to ensure efficient and effective operations across multiple dental practices within the DSO. This role will involve establishing and maintaining operational standards, optimizing workflow processes, and driving operational excellence. RESPONSIBILITIES:
The specific requirements and responsibilities may vary depending on needs and organizational scaling. This position will require travel amongst our New Jersey offices with occasional travel to our NY headquarters for specified Operations meetings.
Strategic Planning and Execution:
Develop and implement the operational strategy aligned with the Company's overall goals and objectives.
Collaborate with the executive team to define and execute the company's long-term vision.
Identify opportunities for operational improvements, cost optimization, and efficiency enhancements.
Operational Management:
Provide leadership and direction to all operational departments, such as manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, facilities, and quality assurance.
Ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations, optimizing resource allocation and utilization.
Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline processes and improve productivity.
Monitor and evaluate operational performance using data and metrics, making data-driven decisions to drive continuous improvement.
Team Leadership and Development:
Build and lead a high-performing operations team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to department heads and managers.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the operations function.
Recruit and retain top talent, identifying skill gaps and implementing training and development programs.
Establish succession plans to ensure a strong talent pipeline for key operational roles.
Compliance Monitoring:
Identify operational risks and develop strategies with senior operations to mitigate them.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Implement and monitor health and safety protocols to provide a safe working environment.
Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
Financial Management:
Analyze financial reports and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
Work with practice managers and revenue cycle team to optimize and maximize revenue generation.
PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field (a master's degree is preferred)
Extensive experience (5+ years) in dental practice management or operations, preferably within a DSO but at minimum with multi-location dental setting.
Strong knowledge of dental practice operations, including scheduling, patient flow, billing, and insurance processes.
Proven track record of successfully managing and leading teams.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze financial and operational data.
Familiarity with dental industry regulations and compliance requirements.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Works under the direction of a Radiation Oncologist and performs responsibilities associated with the localization of tumors and the administration of radiation therapy. Delivery of Radiation Therapy Administer prescribed dose of radiation therapy under the direction of a radiation oncologist, in accordance with regulatory standards and hospital policies, practices and procedures, including but not limited to:
• Positions patients for radiation therapy treatments with accuracy; utilizing image guidance.
• Simulates patients under the guidance of radiation oncologist and make custom immobilization devices.
• Performs daily quality assurance checks on linear accelerators and CT/simulation
• Ensure that all applicable treatment information and quality assurance checks; regarding the proposed treatment plan is correct before the start of radiation.
• Trains and supervises students during their clinical rotation, and or shadow program; Orient new radiation therapist and act as their mentor.
• Acts as a consistent team member with patient care as the priority. Effectively rotates as needed with seamless efficiency. Able to treat efficiently with all radiation therapists
• Able to effectively communicate with Radiation Oncologist, Dosimetrist, Physicist and support team.
• Adheres to punch in/punch out policy. PEAR reports for missed punches are signed by supervisor before the end of the pay period
• Correctly identify patient in ARIA and accurately deliver the treatment to correct patient. Identify each patient and treatment area prior to treatment according to policy.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Welcoming patients with a smile, making them feel comfortable and confident throughout their visit.
Support the Dentist with various procedures.
Ensure strict infection control by meticulously preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
Sanitizing and prepping operatories for respective treatments.
Adhere to OSHA and safety policies, prioritizing a secure and healthy environment.
Educate patients on effective oral hygiene strategies as needed
Undertake diverse office tasks as needed for seamless practice operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
This is an entry level position (floater) - previous experience in Dental Assisting and NJ Radiology certification a plus but not required! Open to applicants on the pathway to obtaining their certifications.
Any certification/license as required by the state to perform specified duties.

Boston Children's Hospital's acclaimed Social Work Emergency Services team responds to social needs and issues in the Emergency Department and throughout inpatient services. This includes performing biopsychosocial assessments, as well as implementing trauma-informed, strengths-based interventions. We also provide management and advocacy for both patients and families.
This Emergency Psych Service Social Worker will be responsible for:
Providing clinical social work services to assist patients and families with personal, family, medical and environmental difficulties.
Performing psychosocial and risk assessments, assigning diagnoses and developing and implementing interventions and treatment plans.
Participating in planning and implementation of discharge and outpatient service plans and collaborating with health care team and community agencies to plan, implementing and following up on treatment and provision of needed services.
To qualify, you must have:
A Master's degree in Social Work, an LCSW or LICSW is required.

Spanish language skills are a plus.

Radiation Therapist - Full TIme - Days

Works under the direction of a Radiation Oncologist and performs responsibilities associated with the localization of tumors and the administration of radiation therapy. Possess knowledge in principles, practices and procedures involved with the operation of ionizing radiographic and radiation therapy equipment. The knowledge of human anatomy and proper positioning of the patient to provide radiation therapy treatment. Able to perform CT Simulations in accordance with the instructions of the radiation oncologist. Is responsible for patient safety protocols and adhere to departmental policies and procedures. Participates in the department's performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities. Maintains patient work flow and problem solve treatment issues. Have excellent technical and communication skills and shows ability to develop relationships with the staff, patients and families. Upholds NYS Licensure, registration in Radiologic Technology, ARRT and BLS certification.
Core Job Responsibilities
Delivery of Radiation Therapy Administer prescribed dose of radiation therapy under the direction of a radiation oncologist, in accordance with regulatory standards and hospital policies, practices and procedures, including but not limited to:
• Positions patients for radiation therapy treatments with accuracy; utilizing image guidance.
• Simulates patients under the guidance of radiation oncologist and make custom immobilization devices.
• Performs daily quality assurance checks on linear accelerators and CT/simulation
• Ensure that all applicable treatment information and quality assurance checks; regarding the proposed treatment plan is correct before the start of radiation.
• Trains and supervises students during their clinical rotation, and or shadow program; Orient new radiation therapist and act as their mentor.
• Acts as a consistent team member with patient care as the priority. Effectively rotates as needed with seamless efficiency. Able to treat efficiently with all radiation therapists
• Able to effectively communicate with Radiation Oncologist, Dosimetrist, Physicist and support team.
• Adheres to punch in/punch out policy. PEAR reports for missed punches are signed by supervisor before the end of the pay period
• Correctly identify patient in ARIA and accurately deliver the treatment to correct patient. Identify each patient and treatment area prior to treatment according to policy.
• Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential
Education/Experience Requirements
Required:
Graduate from an accredited School of Radiation Therapy Technology
Preferred:
Bachelor of Science in Radiation; AAS degree in Radiation Therapy also accepted.
Licensure/Certification Requirements
Required:
Current NYS Licensure registration in Radiologic Technology Radiation Therapy .
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
Current Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation Certification
