The HealthRIGHT 360 Integrated Care Center (ICC) provides medical, dental, and behavioral health services to those who are suffering from homelessness, addiction, mental illness, and physical disease. We provide holistic care based on harm reduction and trauma informed care models. We serve under served and marginalized populations, including those who have a history of substance use disorder, have been incarcerated, are homeless, and may have co-occurring disorders. The ICC is a fast-paced clinic environment that strives to provide an ideal integrated care model that addresses the clients health as well as psychosocial needs. Working under the supervision of the Dental Director, the full time Staff Dentist provides professional, high-quality dental diagnosis, treatment and education to a broad range of patients five days per week. Provides hands-on dental care in a variety of settings while achieving the highest levels of appropriateness, quality, efficiency, accessibility and responsiveness. Key Responsibilities Maintains full appointment schedule for office practice and other settings Provides a full range of general dental services within the dentist's defined scope of training Utilizes state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment techniques Refers patients to specialists and relevant patient care components as appropriate Prescribes pharmaceuticals, other medications and treatment regimens as appropriate Directs and coordinates the patient care activities of dental technical and support staff as required Follows established departmental policies, procedures and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives and safety, environmental and/or infection control standards Maintains necessary credentialing, licensure and continuing education requirements Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Education and Knowledge, Skills and Abilities DDS or DMD degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in general dentistry Current licensure in the state of California Valid DEA license to prescribe narcotics Current BLS CPR/AED certification Tag: IND100.

Part-time and full-time as well. Shift Differential: Evening and weekend shifts (4 hours) with direct patient contact include a 10% pay differential in addition to regular salary. Evening differential is paid only for completed 4 hour shifts that begin after 4:00pm. Responsibilities Providing preventative dental care and clinical dental services in a community health center setting. Uses EPIC, digital Dexis X-ray and NextGen Electronic Health Records System. Delivers high quality care to patients. Manages and directs staff assignments and activities in accordance with Marin Community Clinics, Dental Compliance Policies and Procedures, Dental Manual, and applicable California Laws. Flexibility is a must. Dentist may have to perform hygiene duties independently on an as needed basis. Expected to treat other patients that are on the clinic's schedule in addition to treating assigned patients. Qualifications Education and Experience: Graduate of ADA Accredited Dental School. Must possess a valid DDS/DMD License to practice in California. Active California Dental License & BLS Certification Active DEA License. 1 to 2 years of experience in general dentistry (GPR or AEGD a plus). Prior experience working in community health environment a plus. Prior experience working with children preferred. Oral surgery and Endodontics experience preferred. Prior experience working in bi-cultural dental clinic setting. Familiar with Electronic Health Records a plus. Required Skills and Abilities: Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required. Flexible to work evenings and weekends as necessary in either San Rafael and/or Novato clinics. Must possess good interpersonal skills to maintain and establish good relationships with dental team and patients. Excellent communication skills. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Fulfill immunization and fit for duty regulatory requirements. May be required to occasionally lift at least 20 - 25lbs.
