Who We Are
Smile Programs is the nation's leading in-school dental program founded almost two decades ago by two moms, who happen to also be dentists. The founders saw a tremendous need among underserved school aged children who did not have easy access to dental care and who often suffered from poor oral hygiene, tooth decay, pain and associated medical problems. Knowing that many parents could not take their children to the dentist due to issues including time off from work and transportation challenges, they sought to bring the care to the need. Today, through its dental partners, Smile Programs provides preventative and restorative care to approximately 500,000 children per year.
Tooth decay is the most common, and preventable disease among children, more common than asthma. In fact, each year, over 51 million school hours are lost due to oral health related issues.
Smile Programs affiliates with state licensed dentists, hygienists and assistants who use state-of-the-art portable equipment to provide all services onsite, directly in the school or in a self-contained mobile dental facility on site at the school. If portable equipment is used, classrooms, auditoriums or other school venues are literally transformed into fully functional dental offices for the day. Our expertise, obtained through years of experience bringing mobile dental care to schools, as well as through our highly qualified staff, enables us to bring exceptional care with minimal disruption to the normal school routine.
Smile Programs is currently active in 20 states and has ongoing strategic partnerships with over 8,000 school districts, including 21 of the 25 largest school districts in the country.
Given the ongoing lack of access for many underserved children across the country, our services are in great demand and we are always looking for caring, compassionate professionals to join our team and play their part in making a difference in the lives of today's underserved children.
Rewarding Work. Competitive Compensation. Smile Programs.
Smile Programs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation or protected veteran status.

Did you recently graduate?
Or, you have had your own practice and long for an opportunity to practice without the headaches of ownership?
We have a rare, four-day Associate opportunity in arguably the best fee-for-service family practice in central Ohio: South High Dental.
Your skills + great chair side manner + genuine strong work ethic + the high number of new patients at our practice = more income than you would make in twice as many work hours someplace else.
Are you interested in enjoying clinical dentistry with a diverse group of talented professionals who work with an exceptionally well-trained and dedicated support staff? Do you understand how to be a super star in the context of a team? If you think that finishing dental school means the hard work should be over, or you want to be home every evening by 4 pm and off every weekend, please don't apply. You will not make it past the first round of the interview process anyway. No point in wasting your time or ours.
This is a great opportunity, but it works only if you are motivated, willing to work hard during the hours we are open, have respect for your patients and staff, and have a working knowledge of what personal and professional integrity means. The Christian and Missionary Alliance (The Alliance, the C&MA) was birthed in 1887 from a vision of Pastor A. B. Simpson in New York City, who became heartbroken over the plight of the homeless, the immigrant, and the marginalized. Today, we share his passion to offer tangible help and lasting hope to the world s neediest people.
We believe that from the beginning of time, God set in motion a loving plan for humanity that is carried out in each of us through the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. We believe the best way to see this plan fulfilled is by extending His love to those who have yet to experience it.
Through 2,000 churches in the United States and 700 workers in 70 countries, we pay forward the love of Jesus to suffering and overlooked people in our communities and throughout the world through a wide variety of developmental and compassionate care projects and initiatives.
Because the C&MA is a Christ-centered global movement, we place a high value on employing a diverse, multicultural workforce to accomplish His Great Commission. Accordingly, we will be proactive throughout our hiring process to embrace and cultivate racial and ethnic diversity among our U.S. National Office staff.
