The HealthRIGHT 360 Integrated Care Center (ICC) provides medical, dental, and behavioral health services to those who are suffering from homelessness, addiction, mental illness, and physical disease. We provide holistic care based on harm reduction and trauma informed care models. We serve under served and marginalized populations, including those who have a history of substance use disorder, have been incarcerated, are homeless, and may have co-occurring disorders. The ICC is a fast-paced clinic environment that strives to provide an ideal integrated care model that addresses the clients health as well as psychosocial needs. Working under the supervision of the Dental Director, the full time Staff Dentist provides professional, high-quality dental diagnosis, treatment and education to a broad range of patients five days per week. Provides hands-on dental care in a variety of settings while achieving the highest levels of appropriateness, quality, efficiency, accessibility and responsiveness. Qualifications Education and Experience: * Graduate of an ADA-accredited dental school. * Possession of a valid DDS or DMD license to practice dentistry in the State of California. * Active California Dental License in good standing. * Current CPR certification. * Active DEA registration. * One to two years of experience in general dentistry. * Completion of a GPR or AEGD program is preferred. * Prior experience in a community health or public health dental setting is highly desirable. * Experience providing dental care to pediatric patients is preferred. * Experience in oral surgery and endodontics is a plus. * Previous experience working in a bi-cultural or multicultural dental clinic environment is preferred. * Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems is a plus. Required Skills and Abilities: * Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required. * Flexible to work evenings and weekends as necessary in either San Rafael and/or Novato clinics. * Must possess good interpersonal skills to maintain and establish good relationships with dental team and patients. * Excellent communication skills.
