Dentist Duties & Responsibilities: Examine patients' medical records and diagnose dental illnesses or infections Prepare patients for treatment (e.g., by applying oral sedation or anesthesia) Identify tooth decay and replace cavities with fillings Design and fit dental prosthetics, such as bridges, crowns, and dentures Conduct tooth extractions and root canal procedures Perform surgeries on diseased tissues and bones Prescribe medication as needed Promote good oral health and preventive dental care (e.g., by scheduling regular check-ups) Develop treatment plans to improve patients' oral health and habits Dentist Requirements: State DDS license Ability to remain calm under pressure A pleasant and compassionate personality with the ability to make patients feel comfortable Experience with surgeries and tooth extractions Experience with dental equipment and tools In-depth understanding of oral hygiene and dental procedures Working experience in diagnosing illnesses and treating them Ability to communicate with patients about their oral health and problems Compassion and patience Strong attention to detail
