What You'll Do: Assists in conducting testing and assessment, multimedia activities, record-keeping, computer operation, discipline, and other activities. May provide medically invasive (e.g. tube feeding, catheterization, suctioning) and daily living (e.g. toileting, diapering, feeding, personal hygiene) following universal precautions and as trained and directed. Assists and supports the development of lesson plans, and provides feedback to teacher(s)/supervisor(s) on individual students. Communicates and coordinates with students and parents (oral and written) about routine educational issues.     High School Teaching/Special Education (Gen) - High School Date Available: August 2024 Roaring Fork School District (RFSD) The Roaring Fork School District is currently seeking applications for full-time Secondary Special Education Teachers (SSN and MMN) in anticipation of hiring needs for the 2024-25 school year. Position Overview: Viable candidates will receive regular updates as our hiring process progresses and specific building openings arise. This position requires a full state licensure in Special Education or the ability to obtain it and works 185 days per year. Compensation: Salary Range: Starting at $54,000, with higher compensation for experienced candidates (up to approximately $82,320). Salary Note: The annual salary is based on a full-time equivalent (FTE) of 1.0, working 8 hours per day. Positions that are less than full FTE will be prorated accordingly.
