Provide effective and efficient working conditions, space, equipment and an environment that will maximize the effectiveness of sales associates and employees in accomplishing the objectives of the branch office. (15-20%)
Actively participate in community activities, local and state Board of Realtors so that the company will be viewed in the best possible light by clients, sales associates, competitors and the public within the branch office location. (10-15%)
Serve as the Sales Manager in his/her absence. (5-10%)
May assist with regional recruiting including: career night presentation mailings, advertisement development, recruiting materials and interviewing. (10-20%)

Damage Control: Implement rigorous shipping and receiving inspections for large sheet metal orders to catch freight damage
before
the part reaches the technician.

3. Financial & Departmental Leadership

Qualifications

2. Collision & Wholesale Growth
Cycle Time Focus: You will be the primary partner for our Collision Center clients. Your goal is to reduce their "keys-to-keys" time by ensuring accurate ordering (VIN decoding) and rapid delivery of crash parts.
Damage Control: Implement rigorous shipping and receiving inspections for large sheet metal orders to catch freight damage
before
the part reaches the technician.
Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with outside vendors for parts that GM cannot supply immediately (O-to-O strategies) to keep jobs moving.
3. Financial & Departmental Leadership
Profitability: manage the department's P&L, focusing on Gross Profit % on both Customer Pay and Wholesale/Collision tickets.
Team Development: Lead, train, and mentor parts counter staff, shipping/receiving clerks, and delivery drivers. Foster a culture of "accuracy first."
Service Support: Ensure the Service Department technicians have zero wait time at the back counter.
Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years in Automotive Parts Management, with a mandatory background in a General Motors environment.
Collision Expertise: specific experience working with high-volume Body Shops. Must be able to read and interpret estimates from software such as CCC, Mitchell, or Audatex.
Technical Proficiency: Mastery of GM GlobalConnect, Snap-on EPC, and RIM. Experience with CDK is highly preferred.
