Assistant Store Director: Operations - Store Leader
Under the direction of the Store Director, the Assistant Store Director Operations will support execution of the operational priorities within the 4 walls. They will be responsible for maintaining performance of their stores' back of house practices to drive efficiency and achievement of related goals. The Assistant Store Director of Operations will coach their direct associate reports proactively and collaboratively to achieve the productivity set forth in the labor standards.
Primary Job Functions:
Be responsible for achievement of sales, controllable profit, EBITDA, payroll management, P&L performance
Manage the planning, timelines, budget and communication of all required operational processes
Organization of the stock room including merchandise set up, equipment, supplies and technology
Execution of all inbound and outbound freight flow including dock to floor processes and exception report maintenance to maintain inventory integrity
Resolution of maintenance and repair of all facilities related issues
Develop and retain direct reports, ensure their readiness for increased responsibilities and provide a bench of internal talent who are upwardly mobile to fill critical positions
Participate and support in training for new company programs, procedures, and technologies
Consistently model and coach to behaviors that exceed key performance indicators

Proven time management skills and comfortable managing multiple projects with shifting priorities

Because this position requires bending, kneeling, moving merchandise (up to 50 pounds, as necessary) and standing for long periods of time, there may be risk of injury resulting from failure to follow safety precautions and procedures. A limited amount of travel will be required.
Contacts
This position has continuous contact with the public at the Pet Care Center and at Pet Care Center -related events, and regular contact and exchange of information with other departments in the field, Distribution Centers, and at the Support Centers. Contact outside of PETCO may be required to coordinate merchandise returns, ordering parts, Pet Care Center repairs, coordination of vaccination clinics, Pet Care Center events, vendor meetings, etc.

The Town of Seabrook is accepting applications for five (5) Seasonal Laborer positions for the Public Works Department.
REQUIRED EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE:

About the Role
As an Assistant Manager, you set the tone for the store and the team and help bring our brand to life for our customers. The Gift Shop Manager will effectively managing gift shop operations and ensuring consistency and compliance. In addition, they will motivate and inspire their team to achieve productivity goals and will analyze week to date, period to date, and year to date sales, and developing action plans to drive top line sales. Other responsibilities include ensuring the individual and collective skills of the team are utilized effectively, and both the staff and customer experience is positive. This position is employed by an affiliated company of Patriot Rail.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Responsible for the daily operation of all three Gift Shops in New Hampshire.
* Consistently creates a welcoming environment for the customer by greeting and assisting; as well as quickly responding to customer inquiries and needs
* Demonstrates desired behaviors for staff including driving sales, handling difficult and/or complicated sales, cash management, inventory, and follow-up with customers
* Provides a strong leadership presence and control, while ensuring that all customers receive good service and quality merchandise
* Utilizes company tools to diagnose opportunities and develops action plans to improve performance
* Identifies opportunities to drive traffic into the gift shop
* Assists in hiring to the needs of the business, actively recruiting to ensure open positions are filled quickly
* Ensures company standards are met for the Gift Shop and associate appearance at all times
* Prioritizes, plans, and adjusts schedules as necessary to maximize sales
* Plans, coordinates, and executes all Merchandise Calendar direction, campaigns, and sales promotions in a timely manner
* Ensures all pricing, signage, and displays are correct at all times
* Receives regular vendor deliveries and stocks sales floor in a timely manner
* Responsible for controlling inventory stock levels and reordering as necessary within budget
* Enforces all company policies and procedures, including health, safety, and security

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
