With the population explosion in Bentonville and the surrounding NWA region, the demand for collision parts and repair support is at an all-time high. We need a strategist who can manage our GM RIM inventory to perfection while aggressively expanding our wholesale footprint with local Body Shops and Collision Centers. Core Responsibilities 1. Strategic Inventory Management (GM RIM) Optimization: Take full ownership of the GM Retail Inventory Management (RIM) system. Ensure compliance targets are met to maximize purchase loyalty and earn all available GM discounts/rebates. Obsolescence Control: Aggressively manage "frozen" capital. Implement strict return protocols for special-order crash parts (sheet metal, bumpers, airbags) that are not picked up. Fill Rate: Analyze sales history to stock the right parts, reducing emergency purchases and minimizing cycle times for our Service Department and wholesale customers. 2. Collision & Wholesale Growth Cycle Time Focus: You will be the primary partner for our Collision Center clients. Your goal is to reduce their "keys-to-keys" time by ensuring accurate ordering (VIN decoding) and rapid delivery of crash parts. Damage Control: Implement rigorous shipping and receiving inspections for large sheet metal orders to catch freight damage before the part reaches the technician. Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with outside vendors for parts that GM cannot supply immediately (O-to-O strategies) to keep jobs moving. 3. Financial & Departmental Leadership Profitability: manage the department's P&L, focusing on Gross Profit % on both Customer Pay and Wholesale/Collision tickets. Team Development: Lead, train, and mentor parts counter staff, shipping/receiving clerks, and delivery drivers. Foster a culture of "accuracy first." Service Support: Ensure the Service Department technicians have zero wait time at the back counter. Qualifications Experience: 5+ years in Automotive Parts Management, with a mandatory background in a General Motors environment. Collision Expertise: specific experience working with high-volume Body Shops. Must be able to read and interpret estimates from software such as CCC, Mitchell, or Audatex. Technical Proficiency: Mastery of GM GlobalConnect, Snap-on EPC, and RIM. Experience with CDK is highly preferred. Logistics Mindset: Ability to organize a warehouse for small and large-part storage (hoods, doors, frames) without compromising safety or efficiency. Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the Northwest Arkansas automotive market is a plus, but we are open to relocating the right talent. Why Join the Nunnally Team? Stability: Join a dealership with a deep-rooted history in Bentonville. Market Growth: Work in one of the fastest-growing economic regions in the United States. Benefits: Competitive Base Salary + Performance Bonuses (Net Profit & Sales Volume) Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) with Company Match Paid Vacation and Holidays .
