Communicate program participant's progress, mental status, and any changes in daily notes.
Provide ongoing support, guidance, role modeling and supervision to clients.
Identify and address community integration issues for clients with supervisor's direction.
Monitor and document medication administration.
Ensure a clean, safe and home-like environment for clients.
Remain alert at all times throughout scheduled work shift.
Ensure all paperwork, reports, trainings are up to date and completed within the Divisions expected timelines
Attend and actively participate in core training and maintain certification of required trainings (CPR/First Aid, Crisis Management, MAP).
Provide crisis intervention and access emergency services as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree; or High School Diploma or equivalent degree and one year of related experience.
Experience working in the Behavioral Health field
Excellent interpersonal, judgement and coaching skills.

Making medically necessary referrals to other programs as warranted
Coordinating care with other staff in order to assure the highest quality of services and to facilitate appropriate referrals
As needed, coordinating care with the Crisis Intervention staff in an effort facilitate crisis assessments related to voluntary hospitalizations when necessary

As a Psychological Services Associate, you will have a vital role in providing mental health services to incarcerated individuals at SCI Mercer. Performing therapy diagnostic evaluations in order to enroll clientele in counseling and psychiatric services as well as to assess areas of need that might be effectively addressed by other mental health programs and services
Making medically necessary referrals to other programs as warranted
Coordinating care with other staff in order to assure the highest quality of services and to facilitate appropriate referrals
Coordinating care with the Crisis Intervention staff in an effort facilitate crisis assessments related to voluntary hospitalizations when necessary

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Psychological Services Associate, you will have a vital role in providing mental health services to incarcerated individuals at SCI Phoenix. Your responsibilities will include evaluating and diagnosing inmates in collaboration with a Licensed Psychologist Manager, in addition to delivering counseling and psychotherapy services. You will also partner with other health care professionals to develop treatment plans and interventions for the incarcerated population's mental health and emotional needs. Additionally, you may administer psychological and intelligence tests under the supervision of a Licensed Psychologist Manager. Your work will involve facilitating mental health treatment and crisis-related services for individuals of the correctional facility.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Sunday - Thursday, with a 30-minute lunch.
This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55.

Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $63,301.00 (before taxes).

Job Summary
The Department of Community Corrections is currently seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Recovery Court Coordinator. Duties include coordinating all activities related to the Adult Recovery Court, attending all Recovery Court docket sessions within the Loudoun County Circuit Court, screening defendants for entry into the Recovery Court docket, and preparing and distributing weekly progress reports. The Recovery Court Coordinator will also facilitate weekly team meetings, maintain regular communication and collaboration with members of the Recovery Court team, maintain accurate and up-to-date automated case notes and files, compile data for grant reporting, and input required data into the Virginia Specialty Dockets Database.
The Loudoun County Adult Recovery Court follows the Supreme Court Office of the Executive Secretary standards of practice for Virginia Recovery Courts, and the standards of practice of the National Association of Recovery Court Professionals.
Hiring salary will be commensurate with experience.
Minimum Qualifications
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in criminal justice, sociology, psychology, or related field, and a minimum of two (2) years related experience in the criminal justice field to include one (1) year of experience in the area of substance abuse. Prefer previous experience working with a Recovery Court or specialty docket program.
Job Contingencies and Special Requirements
Successful candidate must undergo and complete a criminal background check. Annual DMV record check will be required. Spanish fluency preferred.
Must be willing to work with criminal offenders who may have violent tendencies, observe collection of urine for drug screening, conduct home visits/verifications with law enforcement, meet with potential participants who are incarcerated at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center or other correctional facilities as needed, which may require non-traditional working evening or weekend hours. The successful candidate must have a strong working knowledge of the Virginia criminal courts, probation supervision, substance abuse treatment and drug testing in the criminal justice setting, report writing, collaboration in a team setting, and program administration. Experience maintaining databases, collecting/analyzing statistics for data-driven decisions, and with grants preferred.
Additionally, the successful candidate will have strong written and oral communication skills to interact with representatives from the legal community such as Commonwealth's Attorneys, defense attorneys, law enforcement, Judges and Court Personnel and be able to compile facts and information into concise reports for submission to the Court. The ideal candidate will be able to work as an integral part of the Recovery Court Team, facilitating working relationships among team partners, as well as on a team within the Department of Community Corrections. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assists with implementing each individual's Service Plan, therapeutic physical/ psychological care, and increasing independent vocational and leisure skills.
Assists with carrying out restorative plans.
Maintains documentation of behavioral symptoms and other data collection requirements in accordance with Service Plan.
Assists and promotes independence with cares (including personal hygiene), ambulating in the home and accessing the community, preparation of meals, doing personal laundry and doing household tasks.
Functions as an integral member of the team providing appropriate interventions during medical, behavioral, and/or facility emergencies.
Provides personal hygiene including bathing (tub, shower, bed bath), oral care, skin and nail care and hand washing.
Completes resident grooming including hair care, shaving, dressing and weighing. Encourages residents toward independent personal care.
Assists with toileting including bowel and bladder retraining and perinea care.
Performs and assists with mobility, transferring, ambulation, positioning and range of motion per the Individual Service Plan.
Administers all medications and treatments as prescribed by physician and psychiatrist.
Requests medications from pharmacy; enters new medication orders; transcribes orders; faxes orders to pharmacy; pulls medication to return.
Verifies narcotic count at the beginning and end of every shift.
Documents accurately all cares given, including dietary intake and output, temperature, weight, blood pressure pulse and respiration, using approved abbreviations and descriptive terms.
Serves residents their meals; motivates and assists them with intake of nourishment and fluids.
Participates in the planning of resident care through shift reports and resident care staffing meetings when assigned.
Informs verbally and/or submits in writing any observations and changes in a resident for the licensed nurse or supervisor to evaluate, including dietary intake.
Answer all call signals and requests of residents immediately.
Encourages/assist residents in keeping their rooms clean and orderly; assists with making beds.
Maintains unit in a clean and orderly manner.
Keeps all resident's personal belongings and equipment clean.
Escorts residents to appointments as scheduled.
Participates in household activity programs planned for residents as needed
Performs a total inventory of all resident's possessions on admission, discharge, or transfer.
Ensures all resident's possessions are properly labeled.
Tracks and reconcile resident fund accounts at the beginning and end of the shift. Assists with deposits and withdrawals from resident accounts as needed for community involvement activities.
Responds to resident emergency including bleeding, falls, seizures, CPR and performance of Heimlich maneuver.
Assists with post-mortem care as assigned.
Transports dietary carts and linen carts.
Performs housekeeping and laundry responsibilities as needed.
Assists with the training and orientation of new Household Assistants.
Provides backup assistance to other department personnel as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED JOB COMPETENCIES

The City of Worcester is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Cross Connection Coordinator for the Water Operations Division within the Department of Public Works. Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Water Operations, the position is responsible for protecting the public potable water supply by identifying, inspecting, and mitigating potential and actual cross-connections. This role ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding backflow prevention and cross-connection control. The Cross Connection Coordinator will work closely with internal departments, private contractors, and customers to enforce program requirements and promote public health. The Cross Connection Coordinator reports to the Assistant Director of Water Operations and will receive directions as needed from the Director of Environmental Systems and the Water Resources Coordinator.

ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS:
Manage and update the City's Cross Connection Control Program (CCCP) to satisfy local rules and regulations, Massachusetts statutory requirements and associated rules and regulations. Special consideration shall be given to certain timelines for all surveys, tests, and re-tests to ensure compliance.
Supervise CCCP contractors working in the field conducting tests and surveys.
Coordinate staff assigned to complete work under the CCCP.
Conduct field inspections and tests of backflow prevention devices at municipal, commercial, industrial and residential properties.
Perform surveys to identify potential cross-connections and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
Maintain and update the cross-connection control database, including but not limited to inspection results, customer notifications, and enforcement actions. Maintenance includes close coordination with other departments to obtain up to date properties and business databases.
Issue compliance notices, enforcement letters, and follow up on violations and delinquencies in accordance with municipal codes.
Coordinate with building inspectors, fire inspectors, plumbing inspectors, code enforcement, plumbing contractors, and customers regarding backflow prevention requirements.
Coordinate with the Water Operations Engineering staff on development and re-development of commercial, municipal, industrial, institutional, and residential buildings.
Review and approve backflow submittals including plans and design data sheets.
Provide technical guidance to property owners, developers, and design professionals.
Respond to customer inquiries and complaints related to water quality and backflow issues.
Prepare detailed inspection, investigation and statistical reports.
Maintain certification in backflow prevention and cross-connection control.
Complete all assigned training to maintain licensure and fluency with evolving regulatory requirements.
Manage the hydrant use program including inventory of and inspection of hydrant backflow preventers and utilizing City software applications to register water use.
Manage the irrigation meter program and maintain database of residential irrigation backflow preventers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Strong understanding of cross-connection control principles and programs, backflow prevention devices, and plumbing codes.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and piping schematics.
Familiarity with regulatory standards from EPA, AWWA, and state health/environmental agencies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and data management skills.
Mass DEP Certified Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester license obtainable within 6 months of hire.
Mass DEP Cross-Connection Surveyor license obtainable within 6 months of hire.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Apple IOS platforms and experience with cross-connection tracking software.
Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple tasks.
Regular onsite attendance is required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED supplemented with certifications and courses related to water systems operations or plumbing required; associate or technical degree preferred.
Three (3) years of experience in water distribution, plumbing inspection, or backflow prevention, preferably in a municipal setting.
Mass DEP Certified Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester license or the ability to obtain within six (6) months of hire.
Mass DEP Cross-Connection Surveyor license or the ability to obtain within six (6) months of hire.
Valid Driver's License.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related field may be considered.
Valid Mass DEP Certified Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester license.
Valid Mass DEP Cross-Connection Surveyor license.
Three (3) years of experience managing or supervising Cross Connection Program and Backflow prevention, including testing and surveying.
