Job Overview: Interpreting Department Specialist

• Ensure projects are executed on time, on budget, and meet company and client requirements
• Ensure contractors use best practices and required processes, systems, and tools
• Troubleshoot and resolve supplier, client, and project challenges
• Be on-call periodically to troubleshoot issues after hours, if needed
• Assist in training and coaching colleagues and clients
• Assist with recruiting, screening, onboarding, and training of interpreters
• Review, process, and audit appointment records
• Recruit interpreters at events that may take place in evenings and on weekends
• Personally provide on-site, telephone and video interpreting if needed
• Track and report Key Performance Indicators weekly
• Ensure Quality Control field audits are carried out and improvement feedback is incorporated
• Proctor Spanish Language Proficiency tests periodically for client employee prospects
• Prepare service proposals for prospective interpreting clients
• Identify suppliers who deliver substandard work and take appropriate corrective action
• Share knowledge across company; propose ideas for improving quality and efficiency
• Proactively promote our brand within the industry, among clients, prospective clients, suppliers, prospective suppliers, and the community in general
• Proactively seek, recommend, and execute solutions that support company goals
• Participate in teambuilding and strategic planning events in-person or virtually, as appropriate
• Proactively support account managers to grow profitability of new and existing accounts
• Maximize positive engagement with our contractors by making the most of their capabilities
• Create and maintain healthy, positive, and productive internal and external relationships
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and strategic objectives

Hughes Network Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Department Specialist to support our Mobilsat Terminals & Engineering team. This position will be located at our San Diego, CA office.
Responsibilities:
Prepare Orders for BGAN Products & customer follow ups Project Tracking Folders (PTFs) Assist with Customer RMA repair requests Approve RMA repair PO'sSend Customers questions regarding their repair status to appropriate repair person.Maintain Hughes Systique datasheet for contractors' monthly invoices.Prepare monthly Purchasing Log reports for Business cc expenses.Travel arrangements for Engineering & Business Group.Expense ReportsSchedule meetings, luncheons & events Greet customers & vendors Prepare in-house shipping docs Review and report on order backlog monthly Prepare the license and royalty report quarterly Edit and update product line user documentation Customer support
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business administration and 2 years of experience or equivalent combination.
Preferred Qualifications
Spanish fluency
Will be eligible for discretionary bonus, with funding based on company performance.

Job Description: Operate Mixer equipment.

Duties:
Perform one or more of the following duties:

Service and operate Mixing equipment including following all company procedures concerning mixing. Open 60 lb boxes of meat; make spices and HACCP paperwork required at all work stations.

Must be able to work in cold environment.

Perform any general cleanup or mid shift cleanup as required by company or USDA.

Perform job in a safe and efficient manner as directed by team leader or company procedures.

Keep any record or statistical charts required.

Keep area clean and orderly.

Perform other duties as assigned.
