Works in conjunction with Senior Administrators, and Quality Management to ensure that each resident receives high quality, person centered services that address individual needs and desires. Oversees the overall operation of the medication room and provides direct support and supervision to the medication coordinators. Ensures the safety and well being of residents and staff through the implementation of the fire and disaster plan and on-going fire and safety training. Provides on-going support and training to staff and residents with regard to the rehabilitative philosophy of the program using person-centered practices. Supervises all full-time staff and provides regular feedback about job performance. Review and submit monthly billing and ensure documentation is completed within time frames and up to the standards set by NYS OMH and Medicaid. Respects and maintains resident confidentiality and demonstrates a caring, positive attitude toward all residents, staff, guests and service providers. Schedules and attends regular staff and resident meetings. Works with Director to promote public relations with collaborative systems. Follow all safety rules and regulations for self, residents and staff. Performs any other duties necessary for the effective operation of the program. Qualifications Must meet one of the following three criteria: Bachelor's degree in psychology or Human Service field plus two years of residential experience working with people in various stages of recovery from mental illness (one of which includes related supervisory experience). Associate's degree in a Human Service field plus three years of residential experience working with people in various stages of recovery from mental illness (one of which includes related supervisory experience). High School diploma or GED plus five years residential experience working with people in various stages of recovery from mental illness (two of which includes related supervisory experience). *In addition to the above criteria this position also requires a clean NYS driving record as outlined in DePaul's personnel policy. The use of one's personal vehicle is also a requirement. Must be at least Eighteen (18) years of age. Work Environment The DePaul Riverside Apartment Treatment Program provides consumers with the highest level of independence in a program licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health. The program is designed to be a preparatory step before the consumer begins to live independently within the community. An emphasis is placed on increasing personal initiative and self-reliance. Staff make routine visits and are available 24-hours a day in case of an emergency. This full-time position is Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm with on-call responsibilities. The RN participates in an interdisciplinary team to support the goal of providing excellent quality care to all residents. The ALP Program is a Medicaid funded home care in an assisted living community. NYS Registered Nurse(s) with knowledge or experience with Medicaid billing, Uniform Assessment System (UAS), and development and management of care plans are encouraged to apply! Experience in LHCSA, CHHA, or LTHHCP is preferred. This position is FT days, with the ability to flex hours. Occasional on-call responsibilities may be required. Qualifications Qualifications... *Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. *Valid and current New York State Registered Nurse License and Registration. *Minimum of three-years nursing experience with one-year of home care experience in a LHCSA, CHHA or LTHHCP preferred. *Must possess a valid and clean New York State driver's license that meets DePaul's clean driving record policy.
