Responsibilities Endoscopy Nurse (Endo RN) assists doctors with endoscopic procedures. The Endoscopy RN primary responsibilities include answering patient questions, addressing their concerns, observing patient vital signs, and administering the necessary patient medication. Provides direction and supervision to LVN/LPNs, nursing assistants, unit secretaries, and other clinical/clerical associates. By assignment, may function as a charge nurse for the unit. Involves provision of patient care/service to older adolescents, young adults, adults, geriatric and pediatric patients. A currently enrolled nursing student providing a wide variety of services to the customer under the direct supervision of Nursing. Requirements: Currently enrolled in a RN degree program, with a minimum GPA of 2.5 (must provide unofficial transcript).
