    The Manager, Client Support serves as primary liaison between the Single Source Continuum Contractor (SSCC) and Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) subject matter experts. This position is responsible for connecting the two systems to ensure continuity of care and service provision. Primary responsibilities include coordinating communication and collaboration between the two systems to ensure continuity of care, effective service provision, and alignment with contractual and regulatory requirements. The Manager also oversees Client Support staff, providing leadership, guidance, and performance management to ensure the team delivers high-quality support and consistent service to children, families, and partners within the SSCC network. Primary Responsibilities: Create strategies to ensure that all children are registered on Texas Adoption Resource Exchange (TARE) accurately and timely. Prepare reports of TARE compliance to present to DFPS and the SSCC. Serve as the liaison between DFPS and the SSCC in managing eligibility services for children entering and exiting care. Oversee case escalations and work to resolve service delivery concerns related to Title IV E services. Develop innovative processes and projects to make sure children are exiting care with the appropriate documents and supports in place. Prioritize and train staff to recognize when youth need more support before exiting care. Maintain familiarity with key systems and agencies, including Texas Integrated Eligibility Redesign Project (TIERS), the Office of the Attorney General (OAG) and the Bureau of Vital Statistics (BVS) and other related systems and resources necessary to perform job duties effectively. Develop and implement a process for collaborating with DFPS' regional SSI Coordinator to ensure appropriate action is taken when a child does not have a Social Security number. Develop and maintain a system to track and complete requests for delayed birth certificates for children whose birth were not officially registered with the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS). Develops and maintains a system to track and complete birth certificate requests for children being adopted and for children born outside the State of Texas. Implement strategies to assist DFPS with moving youth to permanency that are in need of adoption. Ensures that effective systems are in place to manage adoption recruitment, Review and Approval staffings, and purchased services related to the Preparation for Adult Living (PAL) program. Required Qualifications: Minimum five (5) years' direct experience in child welfare, adoption, or foster. (Includes case management, working with child-placing agencies, Child Protective Services-CPS or similar settings) Minimum three (3) years' supervisory or management experience leading staff, overseeing adoption case workers or supervisory units. Experience with preparing documentation for court, completing adoption readiness studies, coordinating with legal, educational, and medical stakeholders. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of state/federal laws relevant to child welfare, foster care, adoption, child protection, licensing requirements. Strong written and verbal communication Ability to prepare reports, testify in court. Ability to handle emotionally difficult situations. Knowledge of trauma-informed care and attachment issues. Demonstrated ability to manage caseloads, supervise staff performance, provide training, and ensure that timelines and program objectives are consistently met. Ability to travel (home visits, court appearances).     The Intake Specialist is responsible for processing referrals and placing youth referred to the Agency by TDFPS and other agencies. This position plays a vital role in promoting the well-being of children, participates in staff meetings and trainings, and coordinating with staff from other agencies involved in providing services to youth. The Intake Specialist works closely with DFPS staff, and placement providers to ensure youth are placed in properly trained and licensed facilities within required timelines. This position also responds to crisis calls and emergencies reported through the Texans Together intake line, ensuring timely and appropriate support. This position will serve the Harris County area known as Region 6a. Primary Responsibilities: Receive and review youth referral and intake information from DFPS staff and other agencies. Accept and coordinate placement of youth in appropriate, licensed, and trained facilities within established timelines. Coordinates and assists to locate and arrange for appropriate placement of clients in out of home care. Serves as a liaison for all Agency children placed in residential and psychiatric facilities. Handle crisis calls and emergencies reported to the Texans Together intake line. Collaborate with staff from DFPS and other agencies to ensure continuity of services and support for children and youth. Participate in meetings with collaborating partners and agencies as assigned. Participate in other administrative and planning meetings as needed to facilitate referral and placement. Ensure all placements comply with Texans Together policies, procedures, and other applicable contract requirements and outcomes. Ensure an accurate system of identifying available resources to satisfy youth placements. Maintain an up-to-date listing of all Agency network providers and licensing capacity. Work assigned shifts to support the Agency's ability to provide 24-hour intake and placement for Region 6. Ensure children are placed in properly trained and licensed facilities with appropriate capacity to accept placement. Adhere to all agency policies and procedures, as well as the standards of accrediting and regulatory bodies, including Council on Accreditation (COA) and state licensing requirements. Attend mandatory and relevant in-service training offered at Texans Together to enhance knowledge of services and the application of clinical skills. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in social work, public administration, or related field. Minimum three (3) years in Texas child welfare, preferably with conservatorship, investigations, and/or the centralized placement unit. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of placement policies, procedures, and best child welfare practices. The purpose of this program is to prevent child abuse and neglect by decreasing the risk factors that contribute to child maltreatment and increasing the protective factors that prevent maltreatment. The Parent Educator will conduct intake, assessment, construct treatment plans, provide supportive counseling and teach parenting education. The Parent Educator will also work closely with the surrounding community providing advocacy and referral services. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, preferably in human services or a related field. Fluent in Spanish. English required. Must have a SafeCare Augmented certification or be able to attain such certification within the first year of employment. Employment is contingent on acquisition of minimal certification/licensure. Must be able to work flexible hours which vary according to client needs. Preferred Qualificiations: Minimum one (1) year of experience in a social services setting. Must have knowledge of human behavior and the practice of crisis intervention. Must be able to relate to professionals from a variety of different disciplines and community agencies.
