The Impact you will have in this role:
The IT FinSight Delivery team at DTCC, focuses on delivering secure, scalable, and resilient technology solutions for financial risk management. This role specializes in planning, detailing technical requirements, designing, developing, and testing all software systems and applications for the firm. Works closely with architects, product managers, project management, and end-users in the development and improvement of existing software systems and applications, proposing and recommending solutions that tackle complex business problems.
Primary Responsibilities:
Act as a technical expert on one or more applications used by DTCC
Work with the Business System Analyst to ensure designs satisfy functional requirements
Partner with Infrastructure to identify and deploy optimal hosting environments
Tune application performance to eliminate and reduce issues
Research and evaluate technical solutions consistent with DTCC technology standards
Align risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; advances appropriately
Apply different software development methodologies dependent on project needs
Contribute expertise to the design of components or individual programs, and participate in the construction and functional testing
Support development teams, testing, fixing, and production support

Qualifications:
Minimum of 6-8 years of related experience.
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Strong frontend framework experience - Angular / React

What you'll do in the role:
Architect, administer, and optimize Kubernetes clusters for scalability, reliability, and security across multiple environments.
Implement and manage container orchestration solutions, ensuring seamless integration with cloud and on-prem infrastructure.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to cluster health, deployments, and automation processes.
Develop infrastructure-as-code solutions using tools like Terraform, Helm, and Ansible.

What you'll bring to the role:
6-8 years of experience in technology roles, with expertise in Kubernetes administration and DevOps automation.
Proven experience architecting and administering Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
Hands-on experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines with modern DevOps tools.
Strong scripting skills (Bash, Ksh, Perl, Python) for automation and operational efficiency.
Deep OS knowledge, especially Linux (CentOS, RedHat).
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code concepts and tools (Terraform, Helm, Ansible).
Proficiency with version control systems: SVN, GIT, BitBucket.
Experience with monitoring, logging, and dashboarding tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
Java knowledge for solution development and integration (bonus).

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $111 000 and $182 000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.

We're looking for an experienced Frontend Engineer to join our team, specializing in developing cutting-edge web3 applications. This position is ideal for someone with a strong passion for blockchain and decentralized technology. Your main responsibilities will include designing user-friendly and responsive web3 interfaces, and working closely with designers and blockchain developers to bring our applications to fruition.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
Collaborate with our team to create user-friendly web3 applications.
Develop responsive and intuitive UIs with React, Next.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
Work with WAGMI, Viem to interact with smart contracts
Work with Redux and/or MobX for smooth state management.
Work with REST APIs and GraphQL for backend communication.
Integrate smart contracts with blockchain developers.
Help maintain a design system for consistent UI.
Stay updated on web3 trends and tech
Qualifications:
Minimum of 4 years of related experience
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
Talents Needed for Success:
4 or more years of Frontend development experience
1 or more years of web3 Dapp Frontend development experience
Proven UI development experience in React, Next.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
Familiarity with smart contracts
Hands-on experience with WAGMI and Viem
Hands-on with REST APIs and GraphQL.
Strong understanding of responsive design principles.
Experience with Redux and/or MobX for state management.
Proficiency in functional and reactive programming techniques.
Experience with rendering techniques, including server-side rendering (SSR) and client-side rendering (CSR).
Proficiency with Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) for improved web app functionality.
Experience working with large modular codebases and Mono repos for scalable code.
Familiarity with deploying front-end applications, preferably using Docker.
Preferred experience with Node.js and React Native for broader application development capabilities.
Proficient communication skills.
