Programming, setting up and operating CNC milling Centers using Mastercam software.
Reading and interpreting blueprints, op sheets and work instructions.
Working independently while also collaborating with toolmakers, engineering, Management and Quality Control to achieve objectives.
Review and interpret 3D CAD design blueprints.
Convert design blueprints into efficient Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) programs.
Conduct simulations or test runs to validate program accuracy and performance.
Determine sequence of operations to maximize efficiency in the production process.
Write and modify CNC programs to improve performance.
Adjust speeds, feeds and cutting tools to achieve optimal results.
Continuously evaluate and refine program operations to simplify workflows.
Monitor program execution to ensure adherence to blueprints and safety standards.
Provide training to apprentices as required.
